  1. A few things that impressed me tonight. 1. Rainey is a real deal kicker. His FG was spot on and form was perfect. Very impressed. 2. Orangefield is huge! Very big kids. Shouldn't have lost to Worthing IMO. 3. If they could throw the ball, watch out! 4. Lastly, I was excited to see the Freshman QB, Gonzales getting some PT. IMO, he's going to be a heck of a QB. He's a big kid that can run but also throw the ball. I was actually rooting for him. lol! If they keep it up with the running game the next few years but also have a legitimate threat to pass, watch out!  Of course im a little bias because I'm friends with his parents but honestly think the kid is going to be a good one and look forward to him maturing into a dang good QB for the Bobcats!

thanks for the kind words and rooting for that freshman QB for OF...  I'll let his dad know

  2. Negative Ghost writer! I hate to see what happened to HJ this last year due to all the losses but I think that O-field runs the slot better than most teams in this area. I respect both teams but have to believe that the Cats will pull this one out by 14!

Turnovers, as always, will determine this game.....

  3. I'm guessing having them down 20-6 at one point and them coming back with 20 unanswered points had nothing to do with Orangefield playing a good game? Great game by both teams. Huge credit to Orangefield on not quitting after getting down early. Bears played a great game today but got beat by the better team today.

LCM should have "on-side kicked" the whole game.

  4. Little League Baseball has stripped the U.S. championship from the Chicago-based Jackie Robinson West team and has suspended the coach for violating a rule prohibiting the use of players who live outside the geographic area that the team represents, it was announced Wednesday.

The Jackie Robinson West team, the first all-African-American team to win the championship, must vacate wins from the 2014 Little League Baseball International Tournament -- including its Great Lakes Regional and United States championships.

Breaking the rules will always hurt kids.

Yes the team did play awesome. I didn't mean it like the way it sounded. I'm sorry... The kid with the Mohawk really stood out man. Awesome
Blocking for him and he is really fast.[/quote

None taken. Nothing wrong with pointing out kids that runs for several hundred yards.

You always give credit when credit is due.

The Mohawk reduced the drag. LOL.

GREAT job on the Sr. game B.

  7. If only everyone could be so positive and respectful on the board. We could all live in peace and harmony and quash the need for Go Pro cameras and video "clips."

The use of the GoPro is to document the conduct of coaches that Are F'bombing 5/6 year old kids and refs.

Today, we a very vocal parent/Fan on the sideline. As soon as this parent saw the GoPro as I appoarched them , the situation was immediate defused.

These adults that conduct themselves in an unsportsmanlike manners have very short memories and 1,000 reasons to justify this conduct.

I'm very hesitant to answer any questions on this board because those who are against the ones that spend 1,00 of hours away from their families and constantly are being bombarded with personnel attacks while having every word possible twisted to justify thier conduct.

But your right, it's a shame that I have to take these step to insure that any situation is handled correctly And that STJFL survives as a league.

So why would anyone be against all STJFL Rep wearing a GoPro to eliminate these adults that ruin such an event for children.

  8. Give it a rest already. Theres a few people on your side but most everybody know that the league has to do something to keep scores in check. Did the board do this exactly right? = No. Do they have the kids of the whole league at heart and not just the rights of a few? = Yes. I saw a show on tv the other day and a dung beetle was pushing a turd ball up a hill and everytime he was just about to the top it fell all the way back down and he had to start all over. Now I would of liked to see him get his turd ball to the top of the hill but it was sure funny to watch him keep trying with the same result. Good luck with your turd ball.

    Brilliant!!!!!!!

You must have a Harvard education.

That has made more sense than the three people with seven usernames on the board ever said about the situation.

Hope the STJFL rep has his GoPro during all this turd Rolling. In case a turd hits the fan.

  9. Actions of All adults affect kids is the quote you as a board member are using, so i will take this and run with it.

    1. Ok you got your guy that part is over with, please explain to me why take the win from the kids? All you have done is poisioned the playoffs by giving wins to teams that were not prepared by their coach. This goes for both the Junior and Senior Level.

    2. In your By Laws there is a few words in Article II Section II, that states the STJFL will not descriminate against a players ability. By punishing these kids for all the hard work they have done you are doing just that.

    3. What is your take that on 50+ different times the STJFL has had teams not even score a single point in a game? To make is even more simple everyone sees what the STJFL does to a team that works hard, what are you as a board member doing to help with that?

You got on this public forum and made the statement "Actions of all adults affect kids" so please explain your actions because according to By Laws I am a member of the STJFL and should have a right to ask these questions. I predict you will hide behind some lamb excuse to blame the coach, I know he was in the wrong and this is not about the coach it is about the KIDS. Thanks for taking the time to answer these 3 simple questions.

Get with your association STJFL board of Directors Representative (Board is made from members of 12 individual schools) and they can help you or let you know the next open meeting location.

    Why get second hand information???
  10. He didn't do it, it was the "Board" or anyone( president/Lumberton, rest of stjfl etc.) that voted for that to happen. They could have easily banned the coach or coaches for life and not forfeit the games from the KIDS. Everyone says its all about the kids. They did what they wanted. The coach is out the league. why do that to the kids?. Do you really think they would have lost either game if the coach was not there? Make sure the hostility and hate that is there for the coach or coaches of BMT is not there for the kids, they have nothing to do with grown folks mess. They are just playing ball........

Ever consider Westend Beaumont Board Of directors knew certain facts that they didn't follow.

Actions of All adults affect kids.
  11. Attorneys ready, local news ready and Bmt ready!! Let's Go!!

I'm guessing no Lamar, No PNG Stadium and maybe even no playoffs cause since STJF is a non profit league, they will have to take a loan of to hire an attorney also.

There goes the neighborhood. Wrap this football season up after Saturday. I hope everyone enjoys your last game this weekend.
