    PNG White 31-0 over OF.

OF is a really good team, I think they were more physical then any team we have faced this year including WOS. My hats off to OF, if you get the offense going ya'll could cause some noise.

We'll get offense when we play u in baseball in a few months.
  2. Well, I have one of those kids that is playing his third year in PeeWee. I can tell you that I thought about whether or not to move I'm up. But, even though it would be better and easier for me to bring him up with his brother, however the reason we kept him down was that he should play with his class mates and friends. Plus, even though he might be physically ready to play against a 10 yr old, he's not mentally. The difference of two years is huge at this age group.
  3. Ha. That's been the thought for years but very rarely happens. As the saying goes, Talent is in the eye of the beholder unless it's a coach's, boardmembers or friends kids.  All-Stars in my eyes should be selected from the offical scoreboard with the highest 8 batting avg and the best 4 pitchers by K's making it.

I would like to correct xdog. Groves won the 8yr old allstars last year. We beat bc at our place in round one, lost to Ned, and beat Ned in the championship at there place. Our 9yr old group isn't all that strong, but i think our 8's will be very tough.

Groves beat BC cause of some home cooking officiating and BC third base coach sending the kids to the slaughter at home. BC got zero calls at the plate as safe.

But the kids did hit a shot to right field to win the game. So congrads to him.

I think it's on to talks Trash sometimes. But I think some of these coaches take it too serious. I use baseball or sports in general as a way to teach my two boys about committment, work ethics and just plain ole giving 100% in what ever they do. Are the Gladiators the best? Ah, no. Are there better teams out there (ah, Roughriders), and I'm sure there are lesser experienced teams out there. I tell not only my kids but all the kids I coach, there is always somebody that's going to be stronger, bigger, and faster, but the true test is if and when you get knocked down will you get up for some more.

People may think I'm cheesey, but I show the kids I coach in all sport to drive to win, and whether you win or lose has nothing to do with the scoreboard.

oh, BTW. Who's is this Juan guy?  He must be a pain in the butt. And that's not good if people are confusing me with him. No good!
