Prayer to your running back. That kid was a beast. It was a scary moment. it was a tough hard fight for both teams. -

That’s running game is legit for Coldsprings -
I think our kids have plenty experience playing that offense. They only dealt with a version on that for 14 long grueling seasons. Just put 9 in the box.
-
@TrojanWarrior08 makes sure you try the Visitors concession. They have killer food. this should be a tailing game for how both teams finish out the season.
-
If Orangefield pulls another game like Anahuac it will secure the confidence for the team. 1 game may be luck, 2 games may be a lucky streak but 3 good game for a team & will start the wheels of confidence & that could lead to kids believing in themselves. I for one am excited

Kirbyville (12) @ Coldspring-Oakhurst (50) - FINAL

If Orangefield QB can work that Play action pass with a little time he can put the ball in the area. With #2 establishing the run should be easier & having #17 as a back doesn’t lose you much. when we played Woodville our QB was on his back every play. Sometimes before the ball got to him from the center. -

As I was hearing the Anahuac Football game on YouTube video, they mentioned Orangefield linebackers has a combined 200 solo tackles with #21 & #9 with 82 & 79 respectively. Coldsprings RB may not have faced kids like these. -
What about Coldsprings ?? They beat Kirbyville didn’t they? so Orangefield EC Anahuac (not in order) & ….. Coldsprings ??
-
They didn’t use him at all last year either until the last quarter & they scored. He was extremely hard to bring down last night but they took or didn’t give him the ball to him much I think he would have been much more impactful going up field than dropping back.

I would take a wild guess that their physical overbearing offense scheme drags on the kids playing & also the lack of excitement of running the ball up the middle waiting on 3 yards or a miss tackle. Orangefield now has 3 full teams because kids are excited to play. of course this is just my opinions I have not taken a poll. -
After last night’s performance I don’t see how Anahuac had 1,600 passing in 4 games & 400 rushing. maybe Orangefield defense did that much better. The Panthers QB had zero time to even think about setting up. 38-0. I think Orangefield talent at QB, RB & receivers was equal or better to those you mentioned for at least this game.
-
I’ll take it.
-
Let’s take one game at a time. but I’m excited about this offense.
-
Another TD
-
I hope they don’t change anything offensively. I was a little nervous with that prevent defense at the end of the 1/2.
-
Orangefield definitely has high energy. Hope it continues into the 2nd half.
-
Still looking forward to this game. Will gauge how much improvement Orangefield has made since the lost to “cheating” BC (I joke). I’ve been really impressed with the running of #17 coming in for #2. The O-Line is the big story for Orangefield. Pulling for an upset.
-
They haven’t played EC so when they do either Anahuac or Orangefield will be top seed then that may be for District.
-
Orangefield faces off with Anahuac for perhaps the District Title. I think both offense are clicking. Best Defense wins.
-
Honestly I think Orangefield gave them the Ole 9 in the box & blitz every gap just like teams did to them for so many years.
-
Well, things went south on the kickoff. They let the kick off go & Hardin thought it was going into the endzone for a touch back but the ball stoppped one the first yard line & Orangefield recovered the ball.
-
No I’m serious, according to some ole Orangefield people, Wing/Slot T is unbeatable & the proof is in the pudding Orangefield ran it for 14 years & their record was .500.
-
I told you two weeks ago this thread would be a good one.

Hardin Hornets come in with a record of 4-0 to battle the Orangefield Bobcats with a record of 2-2. It’s homecoming night for the Bobcats so anything can happen.
