  1. That game OF lost 41-7 was a very bad outing for us. No excuses, we lost and earned that lost. However, over the last 3 weeks OF has made some improvements and are not the same team that lost by 34 points. I think everyone of our 2 way starters are 100% healthy for the first time. Granted, I'm sure Liberty isn't the same team from a month ago. With that said, OF needs to make sure they don't fumble the ball to keep the game within reach. But I still think this year's game will be an uphill battle for OF against Liberty.
  2. If OF doesn't fumble then they will be within striking distance to win the game..... liberty can / could score possibly on every possession. OF will rely on ball control to win.
  3. If I'm not mistaken...... Zero passing attempts.... Zero! So much for bringing a more balanced approach with the OC Kind of like Anikin brought balance to the Force...... LOL.
  4. Actually they have three starting to sophomores #17 DE/QB #6 LD/RB AND AN OL
  5. Anyone know about direct TV for those of that live in the country???
  6. How about OF coming out in the Power I. Giving the RB a little distance to pick a lane was good to see a little change baby steps.
  7. Kress is a heck of a QB for the wing-T . Not sure what happened but I hope he's ok. That was a very good game by both team. Both team left it in the field tonight
  8. If OF holds on to the ball, it's going to be the team who has the ball last. OF by a FG. IF OF fumbles..... Long night for the Bobcats on the field and in the Stands. Has LCM fixed their parking issues with the construction?
  9. in agreement concerning McGee and didn't 1/2 those 75 yards come on the last drive on a single run?? It's very very difficult for the OL to pick up their blocking assignments with an ever changing DL lineup and blitz package. All it takes is one missed blocking assignment.... and a tackle for a lost and that can't happen with the Wing-T. But if they blitz and we get the ball across the line, then TD or a long run is guaranteed
  10. If the wing-T is working then good close game. OF my need to mix up their formats if they are crowding the box. Adjusting is the key of OF
  11. Frustrating that OF runs the same 3 plays over and over again then trys it again to the other side.
  12. I think that's too many points for your Wildcats.. OF Defense is much improved from over the years. They have several on Defense, Soph and Jr, with varsity experience and several more Sr's with 3+ on varsity.... Both Bobcats running backs are pretty fast (relative to OF) so The Wing-T should be about to have the ball for 40 mins of the game... OF with the field goal unit could put points on the board with each possession. BUT... if the Wildcats QB can pass.... then OF may struggle.... I say, if your QB has a good passing game, then Wildcats win.
  13. This year OF seems more willing to kick the field goal when inside the 30. Which is going to help with chewing the clock up and putting the points on the board.
  14. Wondering if this weather will hold out. A muddy field may slow down the Wildcats, Bobcat defense will be tested even with a soggy field at minimal. How they do on Friday might indicate some abilities for the games week 3 and week 6. Bobcats offense will be tested this time, I never saw a school (Buna) that ran a 4/4 on the Wing-T... Buna picked the wrong defense for this offense. I don't think Kville will be using a 4/4 on OF this week..... Though I hope so. OF by 3 with a winning 45+ yard field goal by the iron leg Rainey kid.
  15. Still looking for a balanced approach.....
  16. Haven't heard much about Buna but OF has improved on its offensive side of the ball.
  17. Everyone is saying more balanced approach but the moment we go 3 and out from shot gun or throw a few int's.... The ones asking for balance will be the first to say run it up the middle like we've always done. With 9 defensive players in the box... Full back dive is the obvious/only choice for the Wing-T.
  18. If we compare both to Last Year QB (You don't know how good he was until he's not there), Both QB's needs some work. In this offense Kress is obvious choice, much quicker and faster. Gonzales too big for the Wing-T but can throw. Up to the coach to use the talent where it best benefits the team and program. Even with a new OC, OF is sold out to the Wing-T. Good Chance OF can come in 2nd in district this year. High expectations for the 2016 Bobcats.
  19. I like to see a little more passing in these scrimmages just to see what they can do in the air. You have to have a more balanced approach
  20. Running backs are ok. QB didn't have time to reach it to that Extra tall WR #1, Which means the OL didn't block very good. Shepard three 6/7 times Both OL need some more reps. But it it was the first scrimmage
  21. OF Gonzales. Mason )Freshman) ... 1 hr in the 2nd inning, 1 grandslam in the 4th vs LCM.
