Very good game. It was back & forth all night. LCM looked like they were going to put it away with that TD at the end of the half. Orangefield came back with 2 scores & a couple of runs. LCM almost gave the game away with 2 fumbles (wink). Orangefield had the ball from a rollout pass to #14 to inside the 10. LCM defense stopped Orangefield at the 1/8” line. 🧐 Great game. LCM was able to substitute much much more than Orangefield was the one thing I noticed.

BC gave that game to Silsbee. BC needs to stop giving games away.

I was very interested in the game. Apparently was a good game. Those are ones you like to see. The ball control was crazy but speed is a great equalizer quality Orangefield vs EC will be good

Yes. QB isn’t much of a scrambler. More like a pocket passer. He may have 1,000 rushing years in the last 3.5 years he’s been playing QB.

Everything you said is spot on. This is were my comment came from about BC “gifting” the game.

Every game Orangefield has played could have been way more offensive if take away the I’d say 10 dropped passes or miss throws with receivers wide open per game. But that’s HS for you. The only reason I say this is because Orangefield has brought all its receivers back and the way they performed vs Franklin. I had my expectations set higher.

No Slot -T talk around here in Orangefield. 18 points was not gifted to them. They crossed the endzone & put it through the uprights. BC scored a TD on a defensive mistake by running up the middle & the LB falling down if we are using your logic. 28-13 Orangefield

Final 20-6 Orangefield. Orangefield defence once again pulled it off. Defensive score was the game changer. Offensively , Orangefield better clean it up 2 sloppy games in a roll.

The whole game was miscues. Tip pass for a BC TD, BC throwing a grenade on fourth down for a first down, O fumbling the ball on a long drive, O 1st & 10 inside the 13 & two offsides…. its HS football, lots of lots of miscues.

So am I. The QB was a big part of the offense. I know he cause lots of havoc for our defense. we play EC for the “district title” (theoretically) in week 10 so I’d like to see some game play of this game. Or some description of how every one scored.

I have two questions. A). You honestly thing a coach would intentionally “sink their ship”, Why? He’s job depends on winning. because Orangefield plays both teams, how does Woodville come out scoring then gives up 14 points at the end of the game. ?? Defense got tired or Buna got stronger

That was the longest high school game I’ve ever attended. I would guess the 20 injury time outs for cramping was a result of Wet bulb temperature in practice vs game.

Strongly disagree with “In the Area”….

On the Bobcats side, the team looks total different in a better way from last week’s game. Not sure if Shepherds DE was the reason (they were wreaking havoc) but the OL held up much better. Still a couple of drop passes (some would say “where’s the flag”) on a few. Run game had a few good runs. The QB situation (for both sides) was hard to determine since the whistle was being blown early…. Probably very early for Orangefield but still early for both which took the scramble off the table. Now on to HJ.
