Very few out of this district make it passed the 1st round. Hardin is one stop away from losing a game in the playoffs. & to be far it applies to Orangefield also.

Orangefield 49 Anahuac 14 Orangefield put together a good game plan to cage the Anahuac Panthers for Homecoming. Mason Manning opened the scoring with a 40 yd. run for a TD on their first series. The Panthers would hang around in the first half, down 21-14 late in the second quarter. But Colton Michael would squash any momentum they had with a blocked punt with a minute to play. Manning would score his fourth TD for a 28-14 lead. Manning would finish 134 yds. while QB Carson Gonzales was 10-11 for 228 yds. and two TD’s. Kaleb Menard and Hayden Clark would anchor the defense that shutout Anahuac in the second half. The Bobcats travel to Coldspring Friday.

Whoever has the ball last will win.

Zero & I mean Zero 1/2 time adjustments for the 2nd lost of the season. orangefield DL stood straight up every snap. Good Game Hardin, Stung the Bobcats right in the eye for the W.

First paragraph sounds like the BC game. Hopefully a different ending. Orangefield by 3 TD’s. Orangefield can’t afford to play the first 1/2 asleep at the wheel.

I did want to mention that it was pretty weird / cool watching the St Louis team sitting in a huddle watching actual game film footage on a large screen TV on the sidelines. They definitely had a way more collegiate atmosphere. way better tailgating also.

Let’s see. Last year’s BC team had more Sr’s than Orangefield had players…. This year will be different.

I think Orangefield OL is better than bc OL, so I give it to Orangefield by 2 scores. 28-14

This will be a good game to focus on passing to get ready for district. The Running is on point & the OL did a fantastic job last weak. I honestly don’t think this WV DL was as terrible as someone that seems to have a bone to pick with the school. I don’t think the O ( Not OF lol) OL gave up a sack.

To be honest, those two passes should have been intercepted. The first one was under thrown & our CB tripped & fell grabbing his jersey for a penalty but the receiver made a heck of a catch. pretty much the exact thing for TD 2. With out those plays it would have been 35 - 0.

I know it’s a new week but this thread went south. Lol. Let’s get back to how good Orangefield running game is with a splash of awesomeness of the passing game & how with more practice the Woodville Team could return to State….

I think Orangefield has become a two dimensional team with threats from the running game which opens of the passing game. & that’s why I think we are a little more successful last two years. Orangefield has always has had a strong running game but the passing portion was like only two plays (TE Flare). We’ve probably have more passing yards in the first two years than we had in the last 10 years combined so far ( I don’t know officially, but guess). I for one like it & didn’t think Woodville was terrible. I bet by district Woodville will be clicking.

Well. Tell us who should play DL. I’d be interested in seeing the line up. I think O (Not OF) offensive line played hard. Remember Breaux was a OL Coach at the collegiate level

Woodville has a Rough crowd. Woodville give this new coach a chance. Look at us…. We lost the first few games last year & everyone was gathering the pitch forks , now they are getting crow. look at WOS, came back & beat Newton with the same coaching staff as last year. your not helping the coaches & your killing the kids morale.
