Nah. Williams is a Beaumont guy but cut his teeth with Stump at Atascocita and Austin LBJ.
Plus he played for Stump at Brook. So he knows what a winning football culture looks like.
It's going to take a guy that knows Beaumont but has experience with winning programs in order to win here given the circumstances.

Wells was one of the few bright spots on those terrible Ozen teams. He would be a good hire since he's a Beaumont guy and obviously knows the area well.
