Some schools in other states do a co-op team with the nearest school if numbers are too small Doing a co-op with East Chambers isn't a bad idea imo, of course UIL prohibits co-op athletics, HOWEVER with the new rule change, High Island kids can transfer to East Chambers for athletic reasons without having to sit out. That way they can keep their schools and district but if they wanna play sports join up with East Chambers. I'm sure having an extra 10-20 players (depending on the year) wouldn't be a bad thing, at worst it gives the Bucs some more depth

That's a surprise since Ike has been the strongest of the Aldine ISD programs over the last 20 years. I remember my senior year when they smashed us on Homecoming. It was the DQ Big Game of the Week when FSN Southwest with Craig Way came right Brook. I can still feel the lick one of the Ike linemen laid on me

Nah. Williams is a Beaumont guy but cut his teeth with Stump at Atascocita and Austin LBJ. Plus he played for Stump at Brook. So he knows what a winning football culture looks like. It's going to take a guy that knows Beaumont but has experience with winning programs in order to win here given the circumstances.

Wells was one of the few bright spots on those terrible Ozen teams. He would be a good hire since he's a Beaumont guy and obviously knows the area well.

Stowers actually won at Central, so he's the exception. Otherwise I agree.
