Finished 6-4 and made the playoffs for the first time in school history. Hope they hold on to this coach for as long as they possibly can [Hidden Content]

QBs named Anderson are BUs kryptonite

They've beaten Caney Creek before

I realize they beat Spring Woods and Aldine. I also notice that their losses have been closer this year than they have been over the last decade. They likely won't win any more games this year but it sounds like they're starting to get more guys out of that massive population spike to play football now.

Brook really needed this W

What's with all of these teams and scoring 80+?

Yeah, I was gonna say that the Sugar Land campus is more competitive than the Katy one.

Sterling is now 3-0

It's crazy how Cleveland used to have a decent program 15 years ago. Surprisingly they're 2-1. Granted they beat Spring Woods and Aldine but still an improvement because they couldn't beat either of those teams a few years ago. Even with this android growth going from 3A to 6A, they should be able to grab some more guys out of the hallways

Nederland used to be afraid of Coach Stump. Now that those days are long gone, they're open to playing again. That said, I got Brook winning easily.

I remember when they used to be good 20 years ago

And in his case, he only didn't play because he got thrown off the team.

Some schools in other states do a co-op team with the nearest school if numbers are too small Doing a co-op with East Chambers isn't a bad idea imo, of course UIL prohibits co-op athletics, HOWEVER with the new rule change, High Island kids can transfer to East Chambers for athletic reasons without having to sit out. That way they can keep their schools and district but if they wanna play sports join up with East Chambers. I'm sure having an extra 10-20 players (depending on the year) wouldn't be a bad thing, at worst it gives the Bucs some more depth

The Boomers defend this by saying back in their day they got heat stroke, rhabdo and permanent injuries like real men.

If that's true, he has to hit the ground running or he's not going to have the job for long

Like I said years ago when they were struggling. Folks on here treat WOS like a football team with a school instead of a SCHOOL with a football team

Yates blew a 21-0 lead to lose 35-28. Great season nonetheless

They went 10-0 in the regular season and dropped 50 on Needville in the 1st round of the playoffs. I think they have a great shot at beating Pine Tree and honestly I think they would have beaten Lumberton. Love to see HISD kids compete.

Damn, nobody's playing defense

Bryant will beat EC by himself

All these years later and you're feelings are still hurt over that Bryce Anderson game.

West Brook will score until Langston calls the dogs off

Bruins lead 21-0 at the half

Sterling got a lil something going here

Did Langston change coordinators in the off-season?
