Well that's what I mean.  When I was in high school...only high school kids would've been the kind of person to mooch off their mom and dad's anything.  We didn't have "data plans" so I wouldn't even know an example.

My parents stopped paying bills for me the day I went to college.  Excuse me for not knowing what you meant.

In my opinion you were trolling.  Enjoyed the dialogue.....at least it livened up the boards.

I am very sarcastic and enjoy such.  Take care hombre

That's not the first time this thread that inference has been made to me being a ...high school kid?.. I guess.

    Thats not sarcasm.  That's implication.

by the way..I used mighty sarcastically and was accused of being negative also

Me saying that you are abusing your mom and dad's data plan, in no way insinuates that you are in high school.  Far from it.  Sorry (sarcasm since I have to lay it out).

It means "how much do your folks charge you for data overages and rent"

Umm.. wow.  Yep.  You caught me red handed with that one.  Maybe you should tell AAW to delete my profile.  I mean, clearly.  Using "mighty" with a sarcastic undertone can not be tolerated.

No let us not get crazy.  Don't have AAW delete your profile for those reasons.  If he does delete it, then it is to save your mom and dad data overages.  Very noble.

  4. If you truly were not there.....I get it.  But this game was a snoozer...no one was worried.  I was sending pictures to friends asking if they had seen a more elementary offense.  And yes...no matter how many coaches you know or that your cousins are facebook friends with....Liberty showed up to keep the game close.  Why?  Coach speech "we held the #1team in the state to the fewest points etc blah blah blah"

And there have been many teams that have shown up to "make a showing".

I'm begging you.  Please..find one single negative comment I said about WOS in this thread.  Just one.  Take all the time you need.

I'll admit.  "WOS was exposed" was taken out of context.  I was meaning that they had a weakness (yes WOS) that allowed Liberty to keep control of the ball most of the game.  Which means that that weakness was exposed.  I also believe I said that Liberty wasn't good enough to win doing it.

But I did say there MAY be a team that is.

i didn't say a single negative comment.  Despite all the negative comments toward me.

Unless you can find one.  I won't hold my breath

Do you not think WOS could have milked the clock?  Took every second before hiking the ball....maybe even kneeled after gaining twenty yards on a play instead of taking it to the endzone in there few plays that Libery "allowed".  Then WOS could have evened out this most precious of SCORES....time of possession.

Snapshot them pms and post it that would be hilarious for some

No, private messages need to remain private.

However, consider the reason these messages are private.....enough said

You (and several others) are failing to realize that a better team may take more advantage of those numbers.  And that it shows that even the mighty WOS football team can be capable of giving up yards.

It is not the first time this season WOS has given up yards so, there is no shock value for the Mustang fans there.

Yes, if a team is large like Liberty and chooses to bunch everyone up and run up the middle, then they will get some yards that they too can cherish.  However, I don't think it will result in enough points....The ultimate measuring stick.

There is plenty ofD1 teams that would beat WoS . In fact WoS would be 4th place in 94a lol.

I'm sure there are some DI teams that COULD beat WOS.  But we KNOW there are some DI teams that have beat Henderson.  Reading this guys posts makes me feel like I am trying to make sense of what Charlie Brown's teacher is saying. Like TD has said....we only have to worry about DII and the opponents the UIL grouped in DII.

Kilgore , Carthage and Henderson could all beat WoS. Lucky them they are D2

And WOS could beat Kilgore, Carthage and Henderson....Lucky they are in D1.  Seems like the rankings back this up.  Looks like folks have already been beating them.

We're talking 30 years difference. Not sure why but some kids are smaller now than they used to be. Maybe they were corn feed back in the day. LOL  But I feel some kids today have some much speed.

That would be comparing apples vs oranges.  The game has changed so much.  I would say that many Mustang faithful consider the '85 team one of the best ever.  I was watching a show on Fox Sports SW several years ago and they were talking about how no team gave the '85 Yates team a game....and they were in the discussion for the "best Texas team of all time".  The Stangs gave them all they wanted and dropped down the next year.

However,  I digress.....the game is much more open now versus the run first mentality (for most teams). No matter it would be hard to say that Smith, Tezeno, Lewis etc teams would lose to a school of 500+ students. They had PLENTY of speed and size.  If you are talking "pound for pound" i.e.  Sugar Ray Leonard in his class vs Ali in his class.  Then yeah....that is a great discussion.

That's y'all's problem, you think they can't be beat, well bro, anybody can lose one. Liberty has a 50% chance of pulling this game off. I'm pulling for them and I hope they bring it to WOS and maybe shut some of you up a little.

50% chance huh?  I will save you some time; if you are ever weighing a career change.....NEVER try to be a Vegas oddsmaker.

You are no different then then the guy that asked for an HJ spokesman to tell him "what kind of team do you have"...I sense a lot of arrogance in this thread from some of the WOS faithful.  Not enough to cause the type of karma that would allow you boys to actually lose a district game, but the type to blow a lead like y'all did vs Gilmer two years ago in Dallas.  Thank goodness we all know you aren't a true reflection of the WOS program.  One thing HJ has is class, win or lose, you will get plenty of it.

I do believe "what kind of team do you have" was a sincere question especially after they clarified their question.  He could go look it up.  But then what would the point of these boards be if no one asked a question?  Also, I'm sure they would rather some fan perspective rather than sifting through write ups.

So, karma caused the loss to Gilmer in 2014?  The football "gods" chose to sprinkle some dust and cause WOS to lose due to some overconfident fans (I personally didn't know any)?  Thus punishing the players and coaches that worked so hard to get there?  Interesting.  I would ask you to tell me more about this but I'm going to just go look it up.

  13. Skipper your posts are fine.  I understand that the comments by some people might make you feel bad.  However, you are always a gracious poster and if folks wish to be mean....well that's just on them.  We all like to do a little light hearted ribbing but sometimes it can go too far and sometimes it is hard to tell by reading text if someone is joking or not.

Regardless, this is a forum for high school football fans and you are without a doubt a high school football fan.  So post your comments, ask your questions and if folks don't like it.....well they know what they can do with it.
