From what I watched Nederland could have beat them by 2 tds. As a full team yes they we're equally talented. Crawford coaches just stopped using what was working for them.

That is also apart of the problem Nederland is still living in the past while everyone else is passing them up. Having a system is good when you have the kids to run that system. Good coaches adjust their system to the talent that they have at the time. I'll come back to this post in 2 years after these kids have graduated, so we can see if that is still the case.

I would but promised my tickets to friends of my wife. They're looking forward to going to the game. They have a friend whose son plays for Northwestern.

Might as well stay local Saturday and go to Lamar game… lol

Decided to stay home tonight due to the rain forecast over at New Caney. May stay home tomorrow night as well. We'll see.

Man he was a stud at West Brook!!

HF wins 28-21. I think HF has a shot to go 4 rounds deep.

Was looking at the computer rankings and something caught my eyes in 5A D2: Jacody Coleman's Timberview squad. Beaumont folks (and probably others) will know who that is. 😎

Glad I saw this. Bump.

1.) North Shore 2.) Barbers Hill 3.) New Caney 4.) Lake Creek 5.) C E King 6.) Crosby 7.) Sunmer Creek 8.) Beaumont United 9.) GCM 10.) PAM 11.) Nederland 12.) Dayton 13.) Texas City 14.) Montgomery 15.) West Fork 16.) Splendora 17.) Bridge City 18.) Livingston 19.) LCM 20.) Sheppard 21.) Orangefield 22.) Anahuac 23.) Coldspring Oakhurst 24.) Colmesneil 25.) Deweyville

Request—if possible. Can you ask about getting our ‘My Team’ back instead of just in favorites where we can still get our personalized news feed if the article mentions our ‘My Team’ like we used to get? Also, while you’re that close, you may as well make the extra 1.5 hours and drive to the Big Texan. Try your luck with that 72 ouncer. (I am from Dalhart. So, you’re in my neck of the woods—if there were any woods. Go Dalhart Wolves!)

IMO the off-season wouldn't have been a good time because you still need live games to test...along with testing capacity etc....its also about resources allocation...you do all this testing in the off-season when live bullets aren't flying, invest time and resources and then the season starts and you invest additional time and resources to fix all the stuff you didnt catch in the off-season because you can't duplicate a Friday night.... Week 6 to me is perfect because its a Friday night in the regular season but not as busy.....I would have liked Week 1 too..but the stars didnt align....

Just a few hours left now

Not directed at u personally btw. But... During the off season would've been the best time. I feel like profitability drives change and not the actual users. Meaning nobody complained or left because the layout and content. Devs know fans dont have a choice. It's this or nothing. Dave Campbell by any other name just wouldn't be the same. Would anyone buy Lincoln if it was called Mazda? Or Cadillac if they change the name to Crybabies? Ive sent email to support about the favorites section. Im sure many people and sports media use this for updating scores. I had all 84 of our coverage teams set to faves for that reason. But I can still search every team individually. So just call me a Big Caddy

Luckily I'm travelling and haven't seen too much of it...,but now that I'm in my hotel I'm sure I'll see it...lol People, especially older less tech savvy people hate change and they hate the bumps that go along with it...it's just part of it...I know I've gotten some great feedback that I've passed along...one really nice change should be made either tonight or tomorrow... There's no good time to roll out changes to the app like this...if we did it Week 1 people would complain...we picked Week 6 because this is the fewest amount of games in a week so any bumps and issues impact the fewest # of games and we have a week to make adjustments

A very nice post, however the coaching staff before Rich had zero discipline They may have lead the state in personal foul penalties with the majority of those being late hits Hopefully they are getting the discipline back to where it needs to be

Rough day to be a visible and accessible ambassador of DCTF

For the better part of the last 30+ years, Nederland football has never been about having the most talented athletes on the field. It has been about having the right system, being fundamentally sound, being coached well, and playing for something bigger than yourself. The name on the front of the jersey has always meant more than the name on the back. Nederland has built its tradition on discipline, toughness, preparation, accountability, and eleven guys believing in the guy lined up next to them. You don’t have to have the biggest stars—you have to have a team that plays like a team. Talent can win you a game. Culture, preparation, and playing together can build a program. That’s Nederland football. Nederland lost its identity for a few years. I believe they have found that identity again.
