I think he went in with the noblest of intentions. Whether convinced by outside intel or not is irrelevant. He made the choice. My firm belief is he thought Iran would fold, and collapse early on. He didn't understand the regime, and has recently admitted as much when he backtracked on thinking he could negotiate with them, and called them crazy. He should have known all along. But, many Western minds just don't get it. They can't tie the religious zealot mind to something they can comprehend. Yes. I believe he feels it needs to be done. But, not for altruistic reasons, or even National Security. Now, it's his pride, arrogance, and legacy. He doesn't want the black mark. He wants to be remembered as the POTUS who stopped the terrorist regime and proxies in the Middle East, and this isn't looking good for him. He can't stop now. That being said, round up the C-130's, their escorts & about 4 MOABs, and let it rain. Then, decide if a tactical ground assault in key, specific areas is still required.

Great assessment. No matter what happens, you will always have the naysayers……didn’t happen soon enough, cost too much money, yada yada yada. Trump tried diplomacy to appease the masses. Except for Israel, Trump had no allied help. In fact, some turned their backs on him, but that’s another story. No one has ever told Trump what to do, although it makes great headlines and talking points. Trump is doing what no other administration had the balls to do. People also hated Truman for dropping the bombs. It had to be done.

I wonder if everyone thought that in World War I and II? I guess back then maybe not, because newspapers and radio/television had such a tight hold on information, they could control the narrative of the day. I had no problem with Trump doing what he did last summer to Iran when specifically stated that “We obliterated Iran’s Nuclear Capabilities” and chastised anyone who said differently. It’s my opinion that Trump is institutional in making a lot of his decisions. I believe Bibi talked him into this dumpster fire that we’re in right now. As far as losing the house and the senate regardless who’s in charge the debt continues to rise and the bombs continue to drop. I believe we’ve already been conquered from within. Our politicians knowingly are spending us into a financial crisis that is not sustainable.

Obviously didn’t read what Martin Luther, John Quincy Adams, or Winston Churchill had to say about the so-called ‘religion of peace.’ While I don’t paint all Muslims with the same brush, the belief system itself is built on violence, slavery, and lies. Of course, Obama hadn’t read their thoughts either when he defended the belief system at the U.N. in 2012, and he had the ‘benefit’ of 9/11 as proof. The Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 didn’t change his mind either.

If Trump is successful in getting Iran to peace and no nuclear weapons, the history books will treat him well. No one will remember 6-8 months of high gas prices..... If he does not, this will be a bad spot on his Presidency. Personally, I used to think Trump made decisions based on his private poll teams assessment on what is popular and what side the majority agrees with. While I still believe that to a point, I truly believe the Iran issue is something he feels needs to be done, and would sacrifice losing house and senate if he can achieve the goal. He feels that strongly about it.....IMO

This municipality misinterpreted the SCOTUS rulings on animal sacrifice, and capitulated to fear & a large Muslim contingent in their area. SCOTUS didn’t say animal sacrifice was legal in all cases. They ruled that religious activities—including animal sacrifice—couldn’t be prohibited unless it was a general rule that applied to everyone. If the city had a general ordinance that said “no killing of any animal by private, non-licensed professionals, or city sanctioned animal shelters unless there is inherent danger to life or health, and officials must be timely notified…”, or something along those lines, this wouldn’t be allowed. SCOTUS was attempting to protect religious liberty to the highest standard. This municipality just folded. Sad. Funny this is allowed, but California and other places were allowed to shutter churches during Covid, and deprive people of their freedom of religious assembly in the name of a health concern. Animal sacrifice and disposal could also be a health concern…
