Which one is "going to Shepherd"?
-
I guess Coldspring fans will have to start actually supporting the girls programs.
-
The best football players from Coldspring are already going to Shepherd. What is really sad is that the rest of the football players will join the basketball players in Onalaska when they start football.

Same thing that I was told. We've had those same facilities since 1999 with barely any upgrades. I'm actually surprised that the front of the school looks like it does now.
-
I do not disagree with that, there are better options for what they are wanting, unfortunately athletics will not be a part of any passing bond in Coldspring. At least that’s what I’ve been told from community members.

61% opposed and 38% in favor for the $50 million dollar bond. With this amount I see why it did not pass.

That's 8 wins in last 11 games.

It was roughly 70% against for the second time and that’s with very little athletic improvements in the bond.
-
From what I've seen and know it was plenty "in the community" that was upset that this bond did not pass. I saw the Facebook live when they had the presentation for it and what it would take to get it passed.

Bruh ….I thought he obliterated their nuke capability last summer? Did he really really obliterate them again this summer? Pinky swear? The same oppressive radical regime is still in charge except they will be 300 billion plus wealthier to keep terrorizing the world after this ceasefire that allows each other to keep shooting at each other is over. Trump is giving away the farm to exit this stupid war! Go Big or Go Home!

Alvarez didn’t even play. Peña and Paredes seem to be the clutch hitters. Cam Smith is definitely deserving of being a starter.

Nice comeback after leading 3-0 and a Grand Slam and another HR by Detroit and they led 6-3 going into the 8th. We scored 5 unaswered and won 8-6. Hader with anothe save number 7 2 Ks and a pop up very few pitches.

UIL on shot clock usage
scoopno1 replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in High School Boys Basketball
The shot clock idea is a terrible idea. Great coaches like the one at Argyle know how to coach and teach players to be disciplined and take great shots. Several times they battled Silsbee to a standstill and coach Sigler once told me the Argyle told me that the Argyle coach once said he would play Silsbee every week if he could. That goes way back. When I was in high school in Arkansas Coach Kaundart had a great team year after year. He was winning state championships and he had a player Almer Lee who was maybe the best high school player I ever saw. HE averaged 13 or 14 points per game. After winning championships he went to the all star game after his senior year and set a new scoring record at around 50 points. In those days freshman did not play in the SWC and there were no black players at Arkansas. He was the first black player at Arkansas and was the sophomore of the year in the SWC. He had a bad knee injury his senior year and his career did not continue. His time is passed but he was great in either style of play. He did not need a shot clock to prove it. -
Woodville is ranked higher than I thought they would pre season

Does HJ have an athlete that could be the difference maker? Maybe Dorian? I can't remember what I read. Lol
