  1. Past hour
  2. It’s all about PA in this one, Titans 14+
  3. [Hidden Content] He appointed one drug trafficker as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer/ Deputy Director. He just keeps on winning. Why are we shooting at boats again?
  4. Congrats to both teams. Way to represent our district and prove that it was legit. Turns out, Lufkin lost to some pretty darn good football teams this year. I can accept that. I don’t have a dog in the fight I just want to see a good/safe football game! I will give the edge to PAM for various reasons. BH is obviously very capable and nothing would surprise me at this point. Again, congrats to both programs and fan bases.
  5. I too believe BH will play PAM a little closer this go around.
  6. Same here. I have not seen many passes from SOC. I feel like PNG’s defense is “stellar” right now as someone stated in a previous post. SOC also has a stellar defense as well. This game will definitely be a defensive battle. I still feel PNG will come away with the win. Scalp ‘em!
  7. That's a long way to travel for a non-district game. New Hampshire ? Couldn't find anything closer?
  8. PAM is extremely talented and good. They deserve all the recognition they are getting. You have to give BH credit, they have righted their ship and have been playing very well these past 4-5 weeks. Comical game or not, they overcame a 14 pt deficit and a 10 pt deficit. This game should be sold out. Finally a game in the Beaumont area where fans from both schools and the Golden Triangle can attend.
  9. Watch it. Rumor has it they have some complaints to the UIL when they lose 😎 wouldn't surprise me if they had one here too Great season cards. Good to see some life lifted into a other local program.
  10. And Tulane’s Jon Sumrall is headed to the Swamp
  11. +5. No more reactions lol
  12. Weiss hadn't had a game like that since their CStat game. They had been playing basically mistake free. Averages and youth caught up to them. BH wasn't any better TBH. But, they did enough to win--probably--the sloppiest game I've seen this year. Kudos to the Eagles! The answer to the La Porte game is easy. Two late TO's & no adjustments by the staff. Basically, they poached the goat, and gave the game away. Rematches are tough. See 2011. But, looks like the stars are lining up perfectly for PAM this year. I'm not gonna' root against either team. I just hope it's a better game than last night. That was hard to watch.
  13. The year was 1983 Austin played Hampshire Fannett in a non district game. The score was 33-11(I was responsible for giving up a late TD) We finished as the runner up and H-F won their district Rematch, SFA 39 H-F 3 Based on that comedy I saw saturday plus the Cove QB seemed a little fazed after that hit he took in OT before the field goal, I love PA's chances to move on to the Semis.......
  14. Memphis’ Ryan Silverfield is heading to Arkansas. USF’s Alex Golesh is heading to Auburn.
  15. PAM 41 to 13. Weiss was not any good. Honestly not sure how LaPorte bungled that one away.
  16. lol. He wasn’t the only one. Pretty harsh statements from another poster too. 7 was in and out a boot and they had key O lineman and some skill players out. But you never heard an excuse from any of them. Nothing but positivity. “Daddy Ball” person sure been quiet and sure was 100000% wrong. I mean couldn’t be more wrong on his take. Shoot his last 4 years of takes. But doesn’t matter now. He just through for over 10,000 yards in his high school career. And is now the SE Texas leader in career completions and yards. On to the next one.
  17. 18. I think troup threw the ball at will on arp that night, but doesn't speak for only scoring 6
  19. I agree. And that's what is somewhat scary. Now I'm like slow down, take it one game at time. They're about to go where no other PAM team has gone before. Definitely don't want to overlook BHill, even if it's the second time around. It will be a crazy atmosphere with the game being played in Beaumont. Looking forward to it.
  20. Today
  21. When have they thrown and how well did they do when they did? I’ve only seen a few clips and they were all sideways passes Just curious. Thanks
  22. 1st yes please add a poll and Hill to Barbers in the subject 😁2nd I agree with the above, this isn’t going to be the game we saw earlier in the year. BH just got beat by Sterling LOL and was definitely in a funk of some sorts during that time. PAM has been solid throughout I can only hope that we have caught up enough now to play them better. Both teams know each other and have had mainly close games over the years. The only Garuntee is District 9 will win Region 3.
  23. Looks like the smallest Louisiana schools at the event did well against bigger Texas schools. Hicks (just over 100 students) beat Buna (about 400 students); Anacoco (about 200 students) beat Little Cypress-Mauriceville (about 1000 students); and Pleasant Hill (about 80 students) lost a 5 point game to Port Neches-Groves (about 1700 students). Those small schools are from Counties/Parishes along the border. Overall a great event for the kids and interest in the game.
  24. I think they have the highest probability to make it to state out of everyone in 5AD1.
  25. It's almost like these 2 are guaranteed to meet in the playoffs every year now. I like SOC but I think PNG will get em this year. Go Indians!
