  1. Past hour
  2. Not going to lie… I am very shocked by this spread DCTF has… seems to me to be a little lopsided.
  3. The GOP is useless.
  4. Fun Fact - and what you get for reposting MGT (who you didn't believe or care for until she came out against Trump) The post she is referring to was posted 6-19-2025 (she purposely cut the date out to fool you) -earlier that year he said there were too many holidays when announcing victory days for WWI and WWII and said those would not be extra days the country is closed. And unless people are going back and looking at a 2025 post on 6-19, no one is in a frenzy🤣
  5. Out of all the games the Houston area teams played the only two scores I was legitimately surprised to see were North Shore beating Lancaster 35-0 and Deer Park beating Dawson 35-0. Dawson may have injuries or some other issue though? Still think Dickinson will win the district but DP looked awful good week 0.
  6. Heard HF small on d line compared to years past, but their secondary is ELITE. Not sure how accurate that statement is but I guess we will see friday. Rooting for my pirates for an upset but if we can keep it within 10 points ill be happy. Just want to see improvement from last week!
  7. Today
  8. This is an issue that is stirring workers into a frenzy. “Give us fewer paid holidays!”
  9. I just looked at 3 different sites and didn't see anything forecasted much past 5 o'clock. but yes, rain could help Vidor.
  10. Let's also factor in weather. Weather channel is calling for PM rain Friday. If it does rain, I'll lean on a team that can run the ball vs a pass heavy team.
  11. From a recruiting standpoint this has to be the most talented team BH has ever fielded? BH has kids with P4 offers/committed at every position group that I can find beside OL and LB? Example of growth creating talent. Luke Babin(QB) - Composite #26 in the country at his position committed to Baylor Miles Spurlock(RB) - [Hidden Content] Keagan Morton(WR) - [Hidden Content] Raiden Cook(DL) - Composite #17 in the country at his position committed to Houston Chris Clark(DB) - [Hidden Content]
  12. Vidor's improved this year, but it's worth noting that Silsbee has basically a new everybody in their skill positions on the offensive side of the ball. New QB, new RB1, graduated 3 of their 4 top receivers from last year. And this was game 1 for that new offensive unit. Keeping Broussard out of a rhythm is going to be a tall task. He was as in-rhythm as it gets against a very large, very fast defense last week. I think the bigger deciding factor in this one will be how well HF defends the slot-T. If Vidor can control the clock and keep the ball out of Broussard's hands completely for large chunks of the game they'll greatly increase their chances to win. If the Horns get a whole lot of possessions they're likely to score a whole lot of points.

  14. Wow, I had no idea we had played that many times? With 57 previous games maybe we have met while undefeated before? Start the 6A era with a clean slate in what I think is probably going to end up a standard non-district game.

  16. The team does have a level of talent, but it is clearly not on par with some of the previous BH teams. That alone is not a problem, because good coaching can make up for a lot of talent deficiencies in VB. What we are seeing now, however, is the impact of years of weak development and coaching at both the HS and at club. In past teams, BH had superior talent could compensate for those issues; that safety net no longer exists. At the end of the day, regardless of whether the problem stems from HS coaching and player development, or club coaching and player development, accountability for the HS falls on the head coach. Unless something clicks soon, BH could be headed for a rough and unfamiliar season.
  17. Not i don’t believe fights will happen, just solid hard nose football. Most of the time these schools know each other very well and many are buddies etc. just a fun game to watch. Rivalry games just mean more to those boys.
  18. HJ has some holes, but they have a couple of players who could start for pretty much any program in the area. I picked EC to win, but like others I don't think this will be a blowout.
  19. This one gonna be a Donkey Stompin if it happens!🤣
