  1. Past hour
  2. Houston still with a 2 game lead (includes tiebreaker) with 11 to play. Magic number is 9.
  3. I’m late but I saw this on social media when she passed and thought it was perfect: ”Imagine spending 80 years on the planet, writing over 3000 songs, winning 11 Grammy Awards, 10 CMAs, 1 Emmy, countless nominations, having 55 top 10 hits…and at the end of your life, no one talks about that. Instead they talk about the kind of person you were, how you loved others well, how you stayed true to yourself, how you were generous and would champion others, and how you inspired others to do the same. If that’s not the goal, I don’t know what is.”
  4. I sure wasn’t aware of the rest of the team stat. It’s weird how that works because they were both slumping….Alvarez on his homers.
  5. I’m with you buddy. I thought the OL ultimately won that game, which was the most encouraging thing I took away from the game. I know they replaced a bunch on defense but you know tOSU will always have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball. Giving them the ball inside the 20 to start the game, the fluke INT on the second possession on a very well thrown ball to one of the best handed receivers in the game, and the awful drop by Wingo on an easy TD…hard to overcome all that agaisnt a team like the Buckeyes. It also seems to me that Arch is at his best when they turn him loose and let him run around and make plays. I remember Mack being interviewed and saying he learned that early on with Vince, the best coaching with him was not to over coach him. I kinda feel like the same goes with Arch.
  6. Have you ever played a team who was winless? The banners they hang on the fences still read….”We’re #1” and similar phrases. It’s called being a fan and supporting those kids no matter what. I guess some people don’t understand that.
  7. Should have been 5, and the one dropped came at the worst time, and ended up making a huge difference. Sometimes it's the small things, and the timing, that wins or loses ball games. And this game may end up being closer than everyone thinks.
  8. Today
  9. We’re in the Golden Era alright, we need gold to buy fuel now and if this keeps up we’ll need it to buy groceries!
  10. $3.59 Unleaded - $5.49 Diesel - Sucks Speedy Stop in Vidor yesterday. Rest the country is not as fortunate. This nonsense needs to end.
  11. You can be a fan all day long, however that is not going to solve a secondary as weak as Nederland’s. If Crawford throws the ball much, the score will get ugly in a hurry. PNG has 4 interceptions, Nederland may get 1
  12. If it does Joseph seat would be hotter than Faircloth seat was.......
  13. Recognize I started with the championships years
  14. Iowa is fast.
  15. Astros tonight: Jeremy Peña and Yordan Alvarez: 4-for-6, three homers, four RBIs. Rest of Astros: 0-for-22.
  16. Reynolds was amazing too. Wish we could have afforded Dubòn.
  17. It’s called being a fan.
  18. He and Craig Reynolds are my favorite 2 role players in Astros' history. Miss me some Doobie!
  19. Javier slated for tomorrow’s game. Great time for Peña and Alvarez to come out of their slumps. Abreu impressed. Great win.
  20. Get to see Dubón.
  21. Hunter 10 Ks in 5 Win Pena 3 for 4 with 2 dingers and Hader 26 for 26 saves. Bull pen pretty good tonight oh and Alvarez with number 39 Arlington leading in top 8 4-2
  22. Definitely would love a sweep of KC with Atlanta coming to town Friday.
  23. Crawford by a bunch...
  24. Historical records are going to continue to be broken with Coach Joseph. I see that the 13-3 state finalist record from 2022 was omitted from the trend? I see another 13-3 record for 2026. That already surpasses the defining 70's.
  25. Quick ball game. Took less than 2 1/2 hours. Time to get greedy and go on a little win streak.
  26. Houston with a 4-2 win
