Played West Brook in like 20/21 or 21/22

Just saw where Colmesneil at West Sabine is now a Thursday game.

I didn't see that game, but I'll play along. Who in the district has put together a better argument for MVP? I know he averaged 300 rushing yards a game over a 3 game stretch. I doubt there's many that can compare to those numbers.

The whole concept of playing for a FG hinges on having a great defense. Aubrey can be counted on, but it takes away from being aggressive on offense. The NFC East sucks so badly, the Cowboys are still in it. I don’t abandon my team, but the only HC I can remember who coached by being your friend was Bum Phillips. I’d really like a coach with some fire in their belly like Jon Gruden.

Both these districts have Week 11 District Championship games to end the regular season. Couldn't have scheduled it any better. Looking forward to a great game. I also think the Colmesneil/WS game will be closer than that projection. Thoughts?

Nederland should take it. I thought they would dominate Texas city, so no prediction here. Nederland wins by at least 1.

Jasper could possibly go winless in district play for the first time since 1967. It also is the first time Jasper will miss the playoffs in consecutive years since the 1998 and 99 seasons. HF should cruise in this one with starters resting in 2nd half for playoffs. Massey projections has this one 42-7 Hamshire-Fannett Thoughts?

I would love to see Lufkin play one of the Beaumont teams during the preseason. Actually surprised it hasn't happened yet. We had a chance to play North Shore last year. And have squared off against Silsbee several times.

Thursday: Huntsville at Montgomery - District Championship Friday: Fairfield at Trinity. I think the Frito pie is pretty good there.

Its senior night, so I doubt it...I know LaPorte's HC is ultra-competitive and considering what happened to them last year in Rd 1 I dont see them taking anything for granted or turning it down Week 11

It was pretty much expected that this game would be for the District championship. Both teams have nearly identical scores through the rest of the District games. Last year the Montgomery RB ran wild on the Huntsville defense. We will see if the Hornets can slow down that rushing attack. Huntsville also runs the ball well. Montgomery is better in the passing game. I’d lean with Montgomery, but the Hornets are playing good football. So, I wouldn’t be surprised either way. I’ll be there Thursday night.

How long is he out

Could see Kirbyville/EC being closer but the others seem about right in my opinion. Do EC’s turnover issues haunt them in the playoffs?

Jerry Jones was really steaming I bet the coach is go after blowing that lead especially at the end of the 4 th. He was livid from what I seen whe the camera scanned him at the end of game... Boys had this game.
