TheChireno Lady Owls won their Area Playoff game over Lometa 71 - 30 Saturday night in Fairfield to advance to the Regional Quarterfinals against Round Top Carmine Tues night at 7  in Splendora.

Wow; I went to Lometa in Jr. High about 8 years ago. Compared to then its good to see them actually make the playoffs. The were terrible when I went to school there.

What happened up there? Been out of the loop since I moved back to SETX

They just have had some issues with coaching this season. The issue was covered on the sixman site. I knew the old coach and he was a great coach but do not know the whole facts to the story to say if he did or didn't do what was said he did. I do know he was also the football coach and was suspended in the middle of August. It was around the same time of Calvert so it was covered less.

Oh, I know what youre talking about now. I never knew him, he literally moved in about 2 days before I moved out. My family took some of their leftover boxes to finish packing our stuff but yeah thats an all around bad situation.
