1. Beaumont Kelly
2. Warren
3. Woodville
4. Kountze
5. Hardin
6. Evadale
7. Big Sandy
8. West Sabine
9. Deweyville
10. Colmesneil

I don't think Evadale should be rank above Big Sandy. Big Sandy is clearly the better team..
I'm not sure that clearly is the correct word to use. It's not very clear. Especially with the loss of the Hendrix kid. But that was two spots that could've gone either way. So to that extent, I agree.
Well you have all the returning starters except Mr. Hendrix and the lost of one senior, but Big Sandy lost to Warren by 1 in each game in that double header without Hendrix pitching. Well i guess it all depends if Big Sandy can get those bats going or else it will go either way. I guess will see how things workout during the season.
Exactly my thoughts on the bats. And Hendrix was not only a great pitcher for them but also was a huge stick. He will be a huge loss to recover from. But like I said, could've gone either way.
Well what i can see is that 1. Yes, Hendrix was a huge loss 2. Yes, BS bats were not great last year. On the other hand of that they still have the catcher who is much of hitter or better then Hendrix is, and a good Coach with experience. I'm sure he knows Big Sandy needs to recover from Hendrix and get the bats going. Big Sandy had solid defense when they execute the right fundamentals  and when they don't its obvious what the outcome will be. If Big Sandy is serious enough as they are in basketball i see them coming  through the season alright and prove some shock to some teams. Good teams will overcome hard losses and develop to be better then they were before. With talented kids still on the BS team i believe they can do it and with that Coach of theres.. oh yeah will see improvement. If Big Sandy comes through they'll top out there district pretty easily and Evadale won't be big as a threat people might think.

Not sure why Hemphill isn't on this list.... I think they are returning 7 starters and will mix in a few JV kids from last year.  No worries though, they will play and beat three of your top 10 before week 1 is over with.
After Week 1 of scrimmages (and I know they are just scrimmages), Hemphill was up on WS 11-1 after 5 when they pulled starters (without basketball players which includes Twine), and I couldn't even tell you what the score was after 4 when they pulled starters vs. Colmesneil..... I know, I know.... basketball players aren't out.  They aren't for Hemphill either.

Woodville beat WS and they play Colmesneil on Friday. Woodville won't get basketball back until they lose out of the playoffs which at the earliest will be next Wednesday if I'm not mistaken. Woodville beat WS @Pineland and beat Shepherd 25-2 in Woodville. They are supposed to scrimmage Huntington at Huntington tonight. Not sure if weather will hold up though.
As for the Colmesneil game, the fact of the basketball players not being out yet effects them alot more, being a smaller school. I can think of at least four starters they're missing. 3 of which were all district picks last year. Lol
We should start seeing the teams come around in the next week or two.

West Sabine is going to be tough once basketball is done.  Several of WS better players are still in thump thump!!!  I look for them to make a serious run at making it to Austin this year!!!
I agree with you on the improved part. Not sure I'd go as far as a state run. But I wish them the best of luck!

    • It's 2 towns trying to get tickets all at the same time. We have a history of crashing sites..lol
    • The problem as well as that all of the social justice warriors, influencers, and instigators repeat these lies in the immediate days after the event, garnering outrage.  But when they're proven false they never go back and rescind their outrage-causing posts, they just move on to the next one.
    • I just find it really hard to believe that Trump will select a VP based on the votes they bring him.  He's going to want a Trumper that will affirm his every move and stoke his ego.  I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I doubt it.  And as you said, in these battle ground states a few tenths of a % point may be enough to swing the whole election.  Trump can't afford a VP who will cost him votes (Noem would cost him full points, not just tenths), but also needs a candidate that will bring in as many votes as possible.  So hopefully whichever Trump disciple he chooses has some political appeal to swing voters.
    • Good news for this district is for the next two seasons your bi district opposition shouldn’t be much of a challenge… Royal may be better next year but other than that the district is pretty rough… Very good chance that it’s a clean sweep though
    • It’s terrible no matter what happened. I am always concerned with the news media and social media outright lies or incorrect information that is put out, maybe in a rush to be first. Watching the video, it is easy to see that some of the earlier claims are simply nonsense. The officer might be cleared or he might face trial but we should be disgusted with the misinformation. Having been on scene or shortly after an officer involved shooting three times, I can say that some information that comes out is a complete fabrication. This is a horrible situation no matter who was at fault. I wish that the nonsensical false information would stop. That won’t happen…..
