Former Bridge City star Caleb Kellogg went in the 17th rd to the Orioles..pretty impressive, was the closer for the D2 National Championship team Univ of Tampa this past year.

Congrats to Silsbee..great team this year! Silsbee will have their hands full with Ryan Moseley (P) Texas Tech signee who is likely to get drafted very early on..anyways Silsbee will have a great chance at winning with Powell & the way they swing the bats

Both teams are pretty evenly matched IMO. Played a close 6-4 game earlier in the season. I would venture to say Diboll has more pitching depth with 4 good ones & that Silsbe swings it better..I hope it's a 3 game series to be fair to the kids If a one Gamer I'll take Silsbee 4-2 3 game I'll take Diboll in 3.

Silsbee has a pretty good chance with it being a 1 gamer but I gotta go with Carthage, they've beat two great teams in back to back weeks(West & China Spring) more experience and a great baseball program. It'll be a great game. Good luck Silsbee

Good post's..1 gamers have ended BC's season two years in a row..last year BC probably had the best pitching staff in the state & this year they looked poised to make a deep run after giving up 2 runs in 20 innings of playoff baseball. But one bad inning ended it..there can be no excuses if you lose a 3 game series, the better team wins..it happens all around the state not just to BC, but I just wish UIL would make the change. Anyways, best of luck to Huffman vs a good Diboll team

OF will have to win when Smith pitches & somehow grind another one out..I think Silsbee is just too good but you never know, I'll take Silsbee in two.. 8-5 & 3-2

Rake1 does have a valid point IMO, regardless their offense is strides above the rest of the district. Hopefully BC bats will get hott, their offense has a lot of potential
