To quote someone or close enough...FEED US MORE!

You will have plenty to eat once you leave district..I used to respect WOS But way too much you very lttle me...You will get all you need and more  ;D ;D ;)......LET'S GO Tigers...Take it to them... :o
YOU VERY LITTLE ME? Wow, guess they need English teachers up in K'Ville. I, personally, have never ever littled you to my knowledge. I do my best not to little people on here, even to little people. So sorry, if I offended you even a little. This is a board where people back their teams, why do Stang fans take heat when we back our team and when others want to back their little team it is ok for their little people. Could it be there are some little people who are jealous that their little school's little football team doesn't have the same LARGE success?

AS far as respect, we honestly don't need yours or anyone else's respect. We earn it on the football field. Fact is we are one of only 23 schools in the area (according to this web site) to have won a state championship and one of only 14 schools to do it more than once. Call us arrogant because we EXPECT success? We've produced on the field, our players have higher expectations put on them than almost anywhere else this side of Lamarque and Katy. Do we always reach our goals, no we don't, but we have a good ride trying to.

Its funny how conceded sounding that bunch from WOS are! I would love for Silsbee to beat them just to shut them up! They better get use to getting beat. They wont last past the first round when Navasota jumps all over them. We all have to get real and understand those 4a teams Silsbee and WOS played are very weak this year. And wow our district is very weak this year with the exception of Silsbee and WOS. So yes shut outs are impressive when you shut out good quality teams. Oates you can try to line up the scores but realistically was WOS laying off on the offense like Silsbee did when they would get up several td's "no" did WOS put in back ups all of the 4th quarter and alot in the third quarter like Silsbee "no". So your comparisons are arrogantly incomplete!

Fact is, shutouts are impressive and hard to do against even a bad team. Trying to say Silsbee was scored on more because they played reserves more is a pretty weak argument. Secondly, did you attend all of these WOS games? How do you know WOS didn't put back ups in? How do you know WOS didn't let off the gas?

That's weird, I didn't know silsbee started their backups since they usually are scored on early rather than late!!! Good excuse though!
qwerty

Both OF and Buna scored their tds very late in the game against Tiger subs.

Man some of you at WOS are hilarious like a bunch of little kids. Man when y'all get your behinds tore up in the playoffs I don't know how some of you are going to make it! Oh well you always have basketball or wait do you? I'm sure y'all are the best of the best of the best in that too. Or are you?  Oh and PS remember you aren't in high school playing anymore.

lol at aggie did you know thompson was thinking leaving early with his kids so thay could walk on your field to see if it was all that bad
It would not surprise me if he did bring the team over early. I remember Hooks bringing the Stangs over to Tiger Stadium in '09 very early. I got to the stadium at 3:45 and the team buses were parked in the visitor parking lot already. It was a 7:30pm kickoff!!

And what were you doing getting there that early??? Wanted to be first in line for the buffet?????
Actually, I had to meet the IT guy there that early because of some technical issues we had experienced the prior home game.

dude, if you truly think our district is THAT weak..that WOS would lose in the first round, then you must have no more confidence in your Tigers lasting past the first round either. WOS has played the tougher schedule this year. WOS actually BEAT PN-G. If a shutout is not any good against a poor team, how would you rank another team who ACTUALLY gave up points to that team. It's been stated that in only two games were scores given up by your reserves. What about the other games? I respect your loyalty to your team, but don't degrade ours to actually make an argument that you can't even debate well.

I hope this game is close and a late run by Pat Reed wins it for Silsbee! WOS will be at it's best tonight! No turnovers Tigers! Play good field position and try to capitalize on any if any mistakes they make!
I think that strategy will have to work for either team that wins tonight.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
