I'll never forget when we first moved to mid county and my oldest was in Kindergarden. The first day of school he came home and said guess what I learned today at school? I was thinking couty, spelling, etc.. He said they taught us [b]"Cherokee". [/b] The next day he comes home with a feather, and I asked where he got it from. The response [b]"Indian Spirit". [/b] I told him to throw it away before he gets the swine flu. The next day he comes home and he's wearing a beaded necklace and I'm like what the heck is going on at school. Response was it's [b]Wampum beads![/b]

After 14 years there, I've finally got the purple cloud out of my head and kids. Eagle Pride!  ;D
