Young Guns Softball Organization 10U and 12U Tryouts

The Young Guns Softball Organization will be having tryouts
to form new 10U and 12U Teams. The teams will be made up of
first and second year age players. We will have one team per age
group. I have had many calls and emails to start this team so here
ya go.

The tryout will be held for both age groups at 1:00 this Sunday
1/29/12 at the Orangefield Highschool Softball fiield. The teams
will join our already existing 14U and 16U/18U teams in the Organization.

They will also have exclusive rights to all hitting facilities and practice fields for free and they will also be sponsored by Baden Sports.

How'd the tryouts go?  With over 20 kids ready to play it should have been a good turnout.  Are there any spots left?

12U coach to be announced shortly after all the buisness is
taken care of. I think they have around 12 or 13 kids but may
be looking for one or two "key" players in the next few weeks.

The 10U team is still looking for kids but WILL have a team built
shorty. The 10U group will have some more tryouts in the next
few weeks. Keep watching for the dates.

Thanks for your intrest and yes if you are still looking for a spot on

It looks like we will be relocating to the South East Texas region (Beaumont/Pt. Arthur/Orange) the week of June 18th.  Our daughter Callie (March 2000) pitches for an 11U Team in central Ohio.  She also plays 1st base and center field.  I (chester) help out with the team as well.  We'll be looking for a girls travel softball team she can join that needs a pitcher and is looking for another assistant coach.  We can be reached at [email protected] as well.

I don't know, of course, where your work place will be, but we in Silsbee, Texas (18 miles north of Beaumont) would love to have you, Callie and the rest of your family
reside here in Silsbee.  Pretty good folks around here. :)

Thank you for your thoughts.  I know Dean Robinson in Silsbee pretty well.  As you say, it is a great place to reside and raise a family.  Hopefully, we'll find a select girls softball team in South East Texas for Callie to play on and for me to assist.  She enjoys playing for her current team in central Ohio.  Again, thanks.

If you want to put your daughter in the best school district with the best softball program for future years, you need to move to Port Neches-Groves. There are several travel teams in the area she can play with, but PNG is the best district around SE Texas.
