Yes those stats are correct. That kid is in his own league. If he keeps producing those kind of stats through his senior year he will definitely get a D1 scholarship. For sure.

Texas is already shown interest in this kid as a top baseball prospect, he is ranked in the top 20 in the country of his class of 2014.

I know no one is talking about WS QB Desmond Lacey #5 because they only won two non-conference games and 2-0 in district, but he has 1500+ for the season thus far. I don't know the exact number, but I know it's more than 1500. This kid is a QB that can run! Everyone already knows his line is not that great, so for him to be rushing this many yards is great.

A sophomore producing these numbers is scary. Either this kid's offensive line is amazing and his speed is off the charts or the competition is pretty weak. Either way, 2300 yards rushing through 7 games is a very tough task regardless of the strength of schedule or whatever. Especially from a sophomore. Barring injury, this kid has a bright future ahead of him

He is a phenomenal athelete. He qualified for 5 events in regionals for track as a freshman.

As previously mentioned Coldspring's backfield duo of Gilbert and Monroe will be on the list....Gilbert should finish regular season with well over 1500 and Monroe should finish close to 1200...

They're averaging 165 and 111 a game respectively...It'll be interesting to see how they do against Huffman....Last year they were pretty good against the run and from what I've heard they are the same or better this year...

YES  the young man karion morrisey of our Jasper Bulldogs is on pace (and would have for sure had he played entire game last week against Huntington) to be the all time varisty rusher in  Jasper history. (with the yards he got last year while playing quarterback and the totally awesome yard total to this point this year). For those of you old enough and or know the history of very good backs Jasper has had over the years u can/will  appreciate what a great accomplishment for the young man it will be!!!  So Karion  "GO DOG GO !!""

He had another big night Friday!! He and his offensive line took over the game in the second half. I don't think they punted all night.
