Everyone forgets that Portland had Brandon Roy going into that draft and there were concerns about  how those two will play together. Also go back and look at the Ohio State-Florida National Championship...Greg Oden was the best player on the floor and dominate throughout the game. Players like Oden don't come along very often...if he stays healthy who knows where his career is at. Greg Oden has never been arrested or anything like that and by all accounts is a good KID (he's only 22)...so why root against him so hard

I don't think anyone is rooting against him.. But by all accounts what has he done in the NBA? Nothing. Up to the point, he has been a bust. Only one person knows what the future holds for this kid.. And we are not him.
