First thing is Coldspring is a very good football team and I will give them that. However, they showed no class by placing a large banner on their bonfire pile that read, "Shepherd Sucks". All of the parents, grandparents and younger siblings of the Shepherd Junior High and JV teams viewed this as the pulled into the Coldspring stadium. Then the vidieo of thier pep rally was worse. Shepherd may not be the greatest team in the district this year but they do have class. When Coldspring came to the Pirate Stadium they were met by signs in tribute to Coach Barbay's father as well as the entire team meeting them in the middle of our field for a moment of silence also in his honor.
