From what I understand Texas Tech just threw their name into the drawing, by making an offer.  I'm sure their will be plenty more schools joining that group, seeing as how he's only halfway done with his junior season.  I've heard rumors that LSU scouts might be at the Waller game.  Here's an article from scout.com.

'12 Scout 100 Intro - Malcolm Brown

By Scott Kennedy
Director of Scouting

Brenham, Texas - Nose guard Malcolm Brown is a member of the initial Scout 100 for the Class of 2012. We take a closer look at him in this presentation by ScoutTV.

The No. 1 ranked running back for the Class of 2011 is Malcolm Brown (6-1/220) of Steele, Texas. Malcolm Brown (6-2/280) of Brenham, Texas has a chance to be the No. 1 defensive tackle prospect for the Class of 2012 as an initial member of the Scout 100.

The bigger Brown plays nose guard for his Brenham's 3-4 defense, but with him in the middle of the defensive line, it's almost like having an extra down lineman. He commands a double team on every play if the offense is to have any chance of success. Even with the double teams, Brown is a rock in the middle that refuses to give ground. If a scheme calls for one offensive lineman to attempt to block him, the play better be going wide, because Brown is going to collapse the pocket almost right off the snap.

Brown's biggest strength is his strength. He has a quick first step and is capable of beating a lineman one on one, but for the most part his job is to occupy two men and prevent plays from coming up the middle. He does his job very well. He doesn't have great speed for a big man and won't chase a lot of players down from behind, but he absolutely owns his real estate and the man/men in front of him.

See him in action against Lamar Houston from earlier this year in this presentation from ScoutTV.
