Jim Nantz is #1 in my book.  This guy is CBS main guy for NCAA basketball tourney, Masters, and Playoff Football.  He does it all.  Best in the business.

I knew you would do it, I just didn't know what number you would place yourself.

By the way, did you ever hear Kern Tips on the radio doing Southwest Conference Football?  NONE  BETTER.

I'd rather have Tigersvoice than Mike "Dirty" Sanchez!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

In the words of Dick Enberg, "OH MY!" - wish we hadn't gone there.  Now he'll make me stand up all next season.

Random Announcer: "Big gain for about 24, man has the off-season really paid off for this guy!"

John Madden: "You see Tim, he carried the ball on the football field...football is spelled with two o's just like cookie."

Random Announcer: "Thanks for the insight John."

John Madden: "That's what 30 years in football will get you..."

Random Announcer: "Insight?"

John Madden: "No, cookies..."

LT on Waterboy: "Which brings me to my second point, kids. Don't smoke crack!"

Mike Tirico has to be someone on the list for me.  Like Spinks said about Jim Nance, Tirico is the #1 for ESPN and he does MNF, NBA, PGA, and he use to be the lead guy for ESPN Thursday night Football.  Not to mention, he has his own Radio Show.  That guy is GREAT!!!!!!!!!

For me the list has to add Dwayne Price.  DP is or was a beat writer for the Fort Worth Star Telegram, covering the Dallas Mavericks.  He also does some sports radio stuff up there, along with some podcasts on the internet.    I went to Silsbee High School when Dwayne was there.  Even then he was one of the most knowledgeable sports know it alls around.  He took his love for sports and made it a profession.  He used to be the stats man for the boys basketball team as well.
