NOOOOOO!!!!! Don't trade him!!!! Let him play, sit, or release him next year, but don't trade him. The reason I say this is because he has 1 year left on his contract and then he is off the books. Why trade him for another long term contract when you could let him go next season and make a run at 1 BIG BOYS in next year FA's crop (I would love D. Wade).

Dickie V. I will agree with you here. While I am not a BISD fan this could all be happening because of 1 person and as much as I have bashed this school district I don't REALLY KNOW what is going on. So assuming is not fair to all of those involved. However, I hope the school district learns a lesson and lets those who should do the hiring (Saveat) do the hiring and let the others stick to their respective jobs. But isn't it the job of the leaders in BISD to tell these morons to knock it off. If it truely is only 1 or 2 people the majority should step up and take control, and if they don't then ALL of them are at fault.

DV, I'll go back to this question: Why would Saveat want the job now? Even if he gets the job, the TERRIBLE admin at BISD has shown they have no loyalty to him even though he's been a long term coach and teach in their school district with all the credentials to hold this job. Its really embarrassing how bad this school district (that i pay taxes for) has screwed up such an easy process.

DV, as a friend and former co-worker of Saveat maybe you could answer this for me. WHY THE HELL WOULD HE WANT THE JOB NOW??? Man this is a direct slap in his face and IMO, as a long-term asst and teach at Ozen, should have earned more respect than has been shown by the board. I truely think he deserves better than this. Like someone said earlier, if I were him, I would be calling my old friend running the PA Memorial. (And I know some will argue that its a dream job, but for me self respect is bigger than any job.)

Just read on Orangebloods.com (Univ.of Texas Rivals Site) from a member that he is hearing from a "Really Good Source" that J'Covan Brown is about to be cleared to enroll at the 40 Acres. I was shocked to read it, but can guarntee you that I won't believe it til I see it. Any thoughts or knowledge on the situation?

Rick Barnes has for the 1st time in the history of program made Longhorn basketball nationally relevent, and even though I get frustrated sometimes with him, like I told you the other day. There is no way the Univ. of Texas would let Rick Barnes go. That would be like letting Mack Brown go before VY told us to jump on his back in the Rose Bowl. It would be career suicide for D. Dodds, who is known as maybe the best AD in the nation. It is not all Ricks' choice! But a Job like UCONN could pull him away guarenteed... Oh Im not saying he won't leave for another job. Im not so sure on your assessment on A. Bradley. I was reading on Orangebloods how most feel he will on be in the Burnt Orange for 1 year. I mean the kid can flat out play, and he proved that last week at the McDonalds All-American Game. Either way, if stays or goes after next year, like you said: THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT!!!

The answer is a 100% YES!!! Mason isn't in the same league as a guy like Bradley.
