Congratulations on your blue wave libs. It’s not as big of flip as Obama had in 2010, but celebrate with your hatred. Let me know when those prices start falling. Never have seen grocery prices come down…..ever. Your side has no intention of addressing the issues you have been whining about for months. The only thing you will do is go after Trump. The impeachments won’t pass the senate because you still need 60. The ball is in your court. Let’s see some results on “affordability”. Again, congrats, but it’s not unique.

Have a feeling the maga cult members will be awfully quiet today.

We took a butt kicking.....are you happy about it?

Maga Cult members is really pushing it and sounding like a Democrat

Good think is hopefully Senate will be 54-46 - and needing 13 Republican to Impeach Trump. Hopefully that should discourage the Democrats for the next 2 years impeaching Trump.

The only Good News

1. Likely not enough votes in Senate to impeach Trump.

2. This does not effect the DOJ and current/future investigations.

3. Trump still has veto power and will use it on silly stuff

4. Texas Senate will likely remain 19R-12D, so even if house is flipped, there will be checks/balance.

Let's see if the Democrats are going to work with Trump or fight him the next two years

won't be shocked if it passes. Trump has gone so far off the rails that being affiliated with him has become a losing proposition, as we saw last night.

work with him? Like he's worked with them? Why would they?

Good news is that some socialist kooks won and are going to further fracture the democratic party. If the republicans get some decent candidates who are actually decent people into the next round of races they should gain some seats back, because stuff is about to get silly. If a third of the party continues to listen to Orange Jesus then the right is going to go further down to toilet.

Do they have a choice if he is reasonable?

If they attack him and investigate him, and do nothing, that gives R's lots of ammo for 2028.

We can't do anything about the next two years but we can prepare for 2028. Who will run? Vance having a child on the way along with his association with Trump, I doubt he runs. I think Rubio will jump in as soon as Vance announces he will not run.

I admit that I am not happy about our state turning blue but I always thought it needed some purple shade.

I believe as far as the state of Texas goes, the Democrats didn't win this election. The Republicans lost it.

Republicans turned the ball over too many times, both inside the opponent 10 and near their own goal line. Costly TO's that lost them the game.

One of those cases of the "better team lost".

Exactly
