Eazy Posted Tuesday at 12:05 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:05 AM I don’t think so. NW has already pulled 2 rabbits out of the hat this year. This game will likely be for the 2 seed. NW is 6-0 and can’t be taken lightly. However, I don’t think they will find that 3rd rabbit. Newton wins by at least 20 points. bd04 1 Quote
GATA! Posted Tuesday at 12:21 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:21 AM Here's the formula to beat us, stop all pat's, recover onside kicks, keep the ball out of our hands, Hardin pulled their rabbit last week, so it is possible, NW is undefeated and coming into this game knowing their district nemesis can be beat, i look for them to come in this game 100% pumped and flying around! bd04 1 Quote
Eazy Posted Tuesday at 12:27 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:27 AM No doubt. NW will show up and play hard. You’re not getting it for free. bd04 1 Quote
kirkwood29 Posted Tuesday at 01:30 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:30 AM It will be close until the game starts. bd04 1 Quote
bd04 Posted Tuesday at 02:07 AM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 02:07 AM Is there a reason why Newton has never worked on having on a kicker? I remember a few years ago they had a kid who kicked some but It seems like every year they run into a situation where they need extra points and they’re forced to fall back on going for two and it bites them. 88Warrior Posted Tuesday at 02:03 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 02:03 PM They would have had a better chance if Newton would have won last week. I believe the coaches will have the Eagles focused this week and on through the rest of the season… bd04 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago DCTX has Newton as a 38 point favorite. Quote

This day in age there's really no excuse. I started working with our kicker this year, and he learned how to kick off of tiktok and was all-district last year. with a few tweaks this year he's borderline D-1. He's naturally talented, and natural talent helps a lot, but there's a soccer player at every school in Texas who could be at least decent with about two weeks work. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

I agree although in the smaller schools I see where it may be a small issue to find a good one. Quote
