DCTF has United as a 6 point favorite.

 

Looks like I will attend this one.

Thoughts on this match up.

I went with NC. By a feather. I just think they’re right there, and have an extra game under their belt. To me, that one extra game may be the separator.

you are right about the NC Defense. Doesn’t help that the senior linebacker was hurt in first game. He tried to play in second game but didn’t last the first series. The Sophomore QB is quick but he make sophomore mistakes as well.

NC sophomore QB has 500 yards passing, 206 rushing and 6 total TDs.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s a gamer for sure! Just think how much better he will be in another year. I was not trying to be negative towards him.

I'm a Beaumont West End homer but I had to take New Caney based off strength of schedules of both schools and how close each of those games were that New Caney played. United to me had a way easier schedule... Combined record of teams the eagles played 9-0 (Cy Falls is a Top Ranked 6A in houston) Lumberton's Record 1-2 , Pasadena Memorial Record 1-2

Last game,  BU didn’t look very sharp.  Partially because they probably had 1 day of actual practice due to the power outage after the tropical storm.  Now that they’ve had this bye with 2 whole weeks of uninterrupted practice to prepare, I have BU by at least 2 TD’s

NC also played the 1st 2 games without their top 2 WR and the past 2 games without their top 2 RB.
