I think Nederland finds a way to get it done this week. Nederland's defense kept them in the game against a dominant offense in WOS. No shade on Vidor but I don't think Silsbee has played a defense as physical as Nederland's. I know Nederland has been getting a lot of hate, but credit to their defense for stepping up last week. Question will be if the offense can get going.

I see some of the scrappiness of some of the early Neumann teams so I wouldn't write them off yet.  If they can get things ironed out on the offensive side they may make some noise.  They might not beat Silsbee, but I think they will be a factor in district.

The sophomore  qb seemed more mobile in the pocket and would throw the ball away when he could to avoid a sack i noticed

The Newman teams were slow out of the gate at times, so that is what I’m gonna do, be slow to decide if this team will be a winner or not.  This week will probably determine a lot of things.  Offense takes a little more time than defense to develop.  Dogs by 6.

One thing about the Tigers they can put up alot points. They have the highest points percentage in our cover zone going in to game 3 with 46.5 over all. 🐅

DCTF has Silsbee as a 5 point favorite.

Nederland will have a defense a few notches better than Vidor but Silsbee played their Sophomore QB on the 1st few drives of the game and he didn't comeback until that last drive to force OT and to win the game in OT. 

Houston Worthing was a pretty bad team to be honest. Im still not sold on Silsbee's defense just yet giving up 39 to Vidor. 

 

Nederland and Silsbee have played alot of classic games. I expect nothing different this week. Silsbee loves to run the the ball to open up the pass. Nederland keeps it real close.

Exactly the Qb rotation and everything you can’t really tell where Silsbee is at. To be honest the oline has not been holding blocks well. The junior qb is out. I’d imagine the rest of the season. Nederland will give us a better look but I wouldn’t toot any horn over some stats

Breeden? I liked the sophomore's ability when I saw the scrimmage vs LCM. Kid has potential to be special next couple years if he can get the experience this season

Thats better than the whole year. But I’d imagine they staying the 10th grader starting
