I think Nederland finds a way to get it done this week. Nederland's defense kept them in the game against a dominant offense in WOS. No shade on Vidor but I don't think Silsbee has played a defense as physical as Nederland's. I know Nederland has been getting a lot of hate, but credit to their defense for stepping up last week. Question will be if the offense can get going.

I see some of the scrappiness of some of the early Neumann teams so I wouldn't write them off yet.  If they can get things ironed out on the offensive side they may make some noise.  They might not beat Silsbee, but I think they will be a factor in district.

The sophomore  qb seemed more mobile in the pocket and would throw the ball away when he could to avoid a sack i noticed

The Newman teams were slow out of the gate at times, so that is what I’m gonna do, be slow to decide if this team will be a winner or not.  This week will probably determine a lot of things.  Offense takes a little more time than defense to develop.  Dogs by 6.

One thing about the Tigers they can put up alot points. They have the highest points percentage in our cover zone going in to game 3 with 46.5 over all. 🐅
