bullets13 Posted Wednesday at 05:57 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 05:57 PM who you got? Always tough to defend the Slot-T, and Vidor looks much improved this year. Came very close to upsetting Silsbee last week. I'm gonna take HF 38-28. Quote

Arch for MVP Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Vidor with the upset! 35-31 Think defense will keep getting better and better as year goes on. Played well last week, and i think they do just enough to keep Broussard and all his weapons from getting into a consistent rhythm. BBtater984 1 Quote

If it wasn't for a couple of blown coverages (especially in OT) Vidor wins last week. I think they correct those mistakes and beat HF. Arch for MVP 1 Quote

Vidor's improved this year, but it's worth noting that Silsbee has basically a new everybody in their skill positions on the offensive side of the ball. New QB, new RB1, graduated 3 of their 4 top receivers from last year. And this was game 1 for that new offensive unit. Keeping Broussard out of a rhythm is going to be a tall task. He was as in-rhythm as it gets against a very large, very fast defense last week. I think the bigger deciding factor in this one will be how well HF defends the slot-T. If Vidor can control the clock and keep the ball out of Broussard's hands completely for large chunks of the game they'll greatly increase their chances to win. If the Horns get a whole lot of possessions they're likely to score a whole lot of points. Arch for MVP 1 Quote

If it does rain, I'll lean on a team that can run the ball vs a pass heavy team. Quote

I just looked at 3 different sites and didn't see anything forecasted much past 5 o'clock. but yes, rain could help Vidor. Arch for MVP 1 Quote

Not sure how accurate that statement is but I guess we will see friday. Rooting for my pirates for an upset but if we can keep it within 10 points ill be happy. Just want to see improvement from last week! Quote

Silsbee wins by more than they did. Quote

Arch for MVP Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Officials gave silsbee an extra time out or they don’t have time to make a drive to bring it to OT. Ref blew the play dead before vidor player touched it. Quote

Not taking anything away from Vidor but I don’t think I’ve seen one Silsbee person say the Tigers were gonna be big and bad this year lol Quote
