Best win, worst loss of Week 1 (coverage area)

Let's here your thoughts on who had the most impressive win and who had the worst loss in Week 1.

 

My most impressive win was WO-S over Newton by 16. (it was 24 till a very late TD)

Worst loss: Lufkin getting beat by 52 by Longview and Kingwood Park losing by 21 to GCM.

Lufkin needs to end the series with Longview until realignment after next. IMO 

 

Not surprised by GCM.

Best win for me was Hemphill. 1 win in two years leading up to Friday night and dominated West Hardin.

Worst loss ( not an upset ) was Kountze losing to Buna by 20.

Cleveland with best win. As, Nuke LaLoosh said, "l love winning man! I love winning! You know what I'm saying? It's like, better than losing."

LaMarque getting a 15 yarder with the ball at the HF 1 may have cost them the game. Give them worst loss despite the matchup, because....you just can't do that!

#18 ranked woodville and -18 point favorite loses by 15..... as my WOS friends and fam used to famously say. They didnt even cross the 50yd line in the 2nd half ( that I seen)

Best win, PAM proving from the last two years whose the best in the triangle/setex.

Laporte- worse  loss , with all the hype, I just knew they would be undefeated till we PAM rolled into town.

Technically, Cleveland doesn't qualify for this particular subject since they are not in our coverage area.

Now if you want to say the Spring Woods loss to Cleveland is a bad one, then by all means.

La Porte started out 0-3 in 2024. Wound up in the Regional Finals without playing a single home game all year.
