Really neither team did until WB the last drive IMO. Neither team knows how to consistently wrap-up. Both teams have alot to work on. 

 

And also it would behoove both programs to invest in hydration early in the week and maintain it throughout.

Last Beaumont/nederland game I attended Colton Kimler decided to up his stats. So that's how long ago it's been for me watching a Ned/BMT game in person

Brook - Craig Stump 

Central - Donald Stowers 

Ozen - Thomas Brooks 

 

I know Brooks was a little earlier and Yes maybe these schools had better individual coaches in other years but I feel like around 2004 -2005 when Stump started at Brook and Stowers was in his 2nd year at central I believe  that may have been the best collective of coaches in BISD .

They had to have made a clone of that kid.  Because he was all over the field making plays on offense, defense, and I believe on special teams…

So you are saying WB has lost roughly 380 kids basically over 1 summer…? So what school(s) grew?

Each team had 1 turnover. Nederland a fumble, West Brook an interception.

West Brook had 2 TOD's, Nederland had 1 TOD.

Nederland punted 6 times, West Brook 3 times.

Not a good night for the Nederland defense which I considered improved from last year im not a fan of Coach Wright no matter how high Coach Rich is on him. On a positive note Jackson Lane and the special teams (- a few punts) had a pretty good night
