Any update from the Hardin folks about where Trevor Jones is going to play college football? I heard he was taking some visits to D3 schools and I'd like to keep up with him as he works through the college ranks.

I have asked.  Nobody has an answer.  And the kid who had better offensive stats than him is also not playing from what I hear, unless that changed recently?

Tarkington just hired Dr. Randall O'Brian, recently retired from GCCISD, as their interim Superintendent. I am sure he will quickly bring stability and relief to Tarkington.

On the plus side, Coach Howard is doing great things so far. Our boys are putting in work this summer.

Woodville will be just fine. Now that Luke is gone. They will run an offense that fits the whole team not just one player.

He was the QB… with D1 offers… of course the offense should be tailored to him though lol

as a high school athlete  you are outstanding but just another athlete in college.-where is Barrier now?  Luke would be better off signing with someone like Louisiana Tech, getting his degree while he is enrolled there. He has a close relative who has set a good example for him. You sign with a D1 school you will probably find 2 or 3  D1 QB ‘s setting on the bench.

LOL. He would be "better off" getting "LA Tech degree" than getting a million $$ and a "Baylor degree". LOL!!!!!

The point is that he would probably play for La. Tech  may never start for Baylor. The degree at Baylor is probably not any better than La. Tech.

“Playing for La Tech” does not override “1 million dollars at Baylor”. And no, a degree at La Tech is not “the same as Baylor”.
 

Might be one of the more ridiculous things I have heard in this forum.

**Also, no reason to think he will not play at Baylor.

Depends on how well the coaching staff adjust to him and the entire receiving core's absence. We have players that can fill in those holes nicely with a little tweak to the system but who knows what this coaching staff has in mind. Cant be too sure of anything right now but hoping for the best

I think Babin has a good chance to be a starter at Baylor after a few years there with his talent, work ethic, and attention to detail. I actually think he has a decent shot at going pro eventually

Barrier is at McNeese with a really good chance  to play this year. He enrolled the spring semester

QBs are, you might want to check on the going rates for different positions at the P4 level. And there is a big difference between the world of "La Tech" and "Baylor". One of them is in a P4 conference. Comparing La Tech with Baylor is silly and not adult conversation.
