I did some research and it definitely looks like Woodville's overall academic performance has significantly dropped in recent years. I didn't realize it was getting that bad Quote
whsalum Posted Saturday at 09:54 PM Report Posted Saturday at 09:54 PM If you look to the South the Kountze school district won some state championships last year in basketball. Look to the north and Woodville was in the state football championship. The biggest common denominator between these two are large housing complex's. Warren has none, these rural folks put their heart and soul into their Ag program. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it's the difference between winning and losing athletics programs. purpleeagle Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Just might be some of these fan coaches are not too far off with the Woodville football program. You might want to look at Woodville's sub varsity scores. Being a large 3A2 team they should have better sub varsity teams. Same goes for Warren. It all starts down there. Example— Newton Jv 50 Woodville 0. Quote
