Does anyone recall Reiner’s comments upon the announcement of Rush Limbaugh’s cancer diagnosis? How about when Limbaugh passed away? Yeah, that’s what I thought……hypocrites. Passing away does not erase or excuse what you did in your life.

Rob Reiner was not a President. He shouldn’t have said anything about Limbaugh, but he was just a citizen. Heads of State are rightfully held to a higher standard. Trump is the first leader we’ve ever had who has no standards. Hell, Harding and Nixon both had higher standards as regards the Office of the Presidency. Nixon hated in private but held himself out as a leader for all the people in public. Trump is incapable of displaying dignity

Obama said the Charlie Kirk shooting was horrific, but defended the right to criticize him after his death. That’s an ex-president. Where is the dignity? Hypocrites!!!!

I could care less what Reiner or any other of those Hollywood folks have to say about politics or people. They are idiots and not important to me.

POTUS is important to me and what he says or does or how he carries himself in the position of the office is important to me. I believe there is a higher standard. At least there should be.

Bottom line, Trump was wrong for making those comments. It was completely unnecessary. It's not what I want MY PRESIDENT to do.

Show some respect. show some class. It really isn't that hard to do.

I hold Trump and any President to a higher standard. That's how it should be.

I guess it’s what someone considers a higher standard.  I want a President that won’t intentionally lie to me and cost me money by driving insurance up and I also would like a President that doesn’t make petty statements about folks.

But if I had to choose it’s a no brainer, one action doesn’t affect me and another does.  Maybe that perfect candidate will show up one day.

Nah, I see a lot of mental gymnastics and justification for these nutso comments Trump made. I can live with “crude”, but this was delusional. I voted for the guy, and I’ll take him over the alternative, but I find it concerning that the person who’s running our country doesn’t have the self control or common sense to not make irrational, unhinged posts on social media. At the same time we’re supposed to trust him to not make irrational, unhinged decisions as president.

Says the man who supports a President who lies whenever his lips are moving. He lies intentionally as well as unintentionally.

In addition, your statement that if it doesn’t affect you it doesn’t matter sums up a lot of the trouble we are having as a society today.

He’s been doing this for decades, surely you knew this before you voted for him.

Don’t disagree, but remember what he said about John McCain?

He’s been doing this forever, it’s who he is, I certainly won’t defend it, but I would certainly rather have a safe border than the alternative.
