FrodoNDN Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Is it him or the freshman West kid a baller? Or both? Quote

It didn't look good when he was helped off the field. I didn't see what happened exactly, if he got hit or just went down on a turn or something. Edit ... on another site they're saying it was a late hit on Bailey, after a pass. Quote

I’m sure he’s probably an all-around good kid. prepballfan, Darth Texas and 1970 3 Quote

Darth Texas Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I hope they keep ashworth and the first team offense for most of the second half. Ashworth needs as many live reps with the starters as he can possibly get. Time to grow up fast. NDNWarrior, 1970 and PN-G bamatex 3 Quote

PAT00 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Ok Indians...man y'all coaches really got them boys playing some ball. To be a contender every year is a blessing. Hope the qb is ok... Quote

Another thing is I think it would do us well to simplify our passing game. Short easy passes. His speed adds a new wrinkle, for sure. I think he has a good touch on his passes. I’m excited to see how the coaches prepare him. The biggest wildcard in my view isn’t Ashworth’s skill — It’s his nerves, guts, etc. Bailey has ice in his veins, and he’s seen just about everything a high school qb can see. You can’t replace that kind of experience, and it can’t be taught. With a new starter getting baptized in the second round of the playoffs (you almost can’t count the game tonight because he was already going to play the whole second half with or without Bailey), it’s a giant question mark as to how he steps up mentally and emotionally. Not to mention becoming a good decision maker. That’s football, and we’ll just have to see. He’s already showing a lot of confidence. Quote
