Logically I'd rather use it to pay down debt.  But, on the other hand, if it's coming no matter what, I'd rather get it than illegals and deadbeats!   

As a side note:  I've been listening to Elon Muck talk.  He says our debt has gotten so bad that it's probably impossible to pay off.  He says or interest payments on the debt is larger than our military budget.  One thing that will help is lowering interest rates.

I don’t need the money. All my stuff is paid. Some people can manage their money. I’ll use it on the grandkids.

I should have clarified:  I was talking about Trump using that money to pay towards the national debt.

Understood. I was taking my shot at Boyz. My last stimulus check, I bought a set of tires…..seriously. I helped stimulate the economy. I’ll spend this too.

Me personally im not sure i qualify for it.. I dont know what they consider "high income" im not rich by no means, I do own a business and do well.. Hopefully I dont get it, id rather work for mine. Dont need any money from gov helping me

I don't need it either - but I'm not turning down free money.  IF it is 2K like he mentioned, that is 85% of a new guitar.....or put in savings....who knows, my only bill is a car note at 2.25% - hate to pay towards that when I can put it in my savings and earn 3.75%

Yes, free money - If I don't get it, the balance in my checking account does not change and my tax obligation remains the same.

If I do get it - My checking account balance changes PLUS 2K, my tax obligation remains the same.

I consider that "free money"

Now we can have a conversation about wasted tax dollars and that nothing is free. Personally I would rather my taxes lowered and not receive the 2k...

Couldn't agree more with last sentence.. 

The "free money" thats supposedly coming i doubt will be free... nothing is free. Was taught that long ago

If that is coming from the tariff income alone, and something the country has not received before, it could be called a dividend.....

We will see how this plays out.

I dont believe anything the government says! They could easily say thats where its from and many will believe it... just like were not funding a war ("they're purchasing our weapons") where's the receipts to back this claim? Again I believe none of it! We seem to always come up with extra money when the economy is struggling!
