AggiesAreWe Posted Sunday at 04:25 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:25 PM Friday night at Doggett Stadium. West Brook has to win to have any hopes of making playoffs. Barbers Hill clinches playoffs with a win. Who ya got? Quote

BHFAN Posted Monday at 11:58 PM Report Posted Monday at 11:58 PM BH may be starting Mr. Wells at QB this week! I think the kid is. Much better QB than Barrier. This is BH’s game they just have to execute Separation Scientist and Eagle82 2 Quote

Wondered why BH didn’t start him & let him develop instead of going the other route. Then, they’d have had an experienced QB for next year. Instead, they got a rented free agent. Good thing is, Wells still has a chance to extend BH's season, and he will be ready to go for next season. I never wanted to say this, but I always believed with Wells starting the whole year, BH never loses to Sterling, and BH would already be locked in as the 2nd seed. Wells is a competitor. Quote

I feel Wells is just a 1/2 beat faster in his decisions and release and from 3a to 5a is huge, imho. I mean no ill toward Barrier because he's doing all he is able, I just feel Wells operates at a different level. My biggest concern is his size, though. Anytime he breaks the line of scrimmage or is sacked, I cringe hoping he can just pop-up. But, that kid is a gamer and I have not once seen him shy away from a hit. That said, I hope and think BH will beat WB. Separation Scientist 1 Quote

BMTSoulja1 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I’ve seen both teams and usually, WB would plow through this team. But based on rumors this week about a significant injury, BH will win this one. Quote

I really thought they would have a great opportunity to finish 2nd in district this year. They were never the same after the OT loss to Lufkin. That was a tough game for both schools that night, a game either team could have easily won. Quote
