OlDawg Posted October 12, 2025 Report Posted October 12, 2025 The Spartans bring a 2-1 district record, and a 4-2 record overall into Bulldog Stadium to face La Porte (3-0, 5-1). Porter's lone district loss to this point was the first district game against Angleton by a score of 56-10. Since then, the Spartans have collected wins against Kempner and Pasadena. The Bulldogs come in with district wins against Friendswood, Kingwood Park, and Kempner. This is a key game for both teams as they seek to lock down potential PO spots. Last year, La Porte started out slow at Porter. But, eventually opened it up for a 41-20 win with the Spartans scoring a late TD with less than 2 minutes in the game. Who takes this one? Quote
purple reign Posted October 13, 2025 Report Posted October 13, 2025 Porter's stretegy is to use ball control and QB Sngletary, who is dual threat and has a big, good RB Binford and they are pretty efficient at keeping a drive going but probably eventually they will give way when turnovers, speed, or special teams will give them problems. Shouldn't be a problem for La Porte. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted October 14, 2025 Report Posted October 14, 2025 DCTF has La Porte as a 36 point favorite. Quote
