mat Posted Sunday at 10:50 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:50 PM I didn’t read all four pages, but has anyone explained how our political leaders continue to get paid during a government shutdown? Quote

They still get paid. Someone had a bill making it where congress doesn’t get paid during a shutdown. That could curb some resistance. Of course, DOGE cut some of their payroll. Lol Quote

baddog Posted Wednesday at 07:58 PM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 07:58 PM The shutdown shouldn’t be about Obamacare. That’s not till Dec. 31. The government shut down because Dems would not vote to extend a bill they had voted for in the past. It’s a clean bill, meaning no junk. Dems wanted healthcare for illegals, which is junk. Republicans said no. End of story. LumRaiderFan and Reagan 1 1 Quote

Boyz N Da Hood Posted yesterday at 06:59 PM Report Posted yesterday at 06:59 PM Tuned in to the news this morning and politicians from both sides do nothing but divide this country. It's no wonder many on here spew the same hate for the other side. It's a trickle down effect and it shows on here... DCT and LumRaiderFan 1 1 Quote

Hurt people, hurt people. However, she does admit who to blame for the shutdown. Quote

Did they change anything for the better, or did they get their mug on tv. DCT 1 Quote
