Good opinion piece IMHO. Granted, I didn’t know that much about Charlie Kirk as I only saw him occasionally on Fox Business. He seemed okay on those short pieces.

Fox Business in the morning (Varney & Co.) and morning local news is all we watch. So, not really as much politics as elsewhere.

Righties on X were screenshotting celebratory posts and posting them and tagging people’s employers asking if they shared the same views as their employees all last night. And I’m going to be honest, I think it’s great. One of the biggest issues we’re facing today is that the fringe lunatic left was able to do and say literally whatever they wanted for a decade, often encouraged to do so by their political leaders. Never being held accountable for abhorrent behavior leads to more bad behavior. It honestly is likely playing a part in these assassinations and assassination attempts. When you’ve had it ingrained into you that the other side is the devil, while simultaneously being allowed to act however you want, it’s no surprise that some take it all the way.

I guess young Mr. Kirk knew more about what was going on in our colleges/universities than most of us, and was trying to engage students who are somewhat captive of their instructors.

Hard to believe this stuff is being allowed until caught. It’s way past time for this type stuff to end.

I don’t remember any of this crap when I was going. Where did these people come from?

A teacher from goose creek ISD , Jennifer Courtemanche, was on X mocking Charlie Kirk and blaming him for getting killed. I hope the ISD hears about this. I don’t think someone celebrating a political assassination should be anywhere near kids. I took a screenshot, but it won’t let me upload the picture because it’s too big

Goose Creek and Pasadena. I don’t know what’s going on with these teachers nowadays.

Was the video before or after? I thought it said before? I was confused. I thought it was after at first also. But, I saw a profound limp in the very beginning of the video when I thought it said 'before.'

The first one said before, then they showed him after jumping off the roof, walking through a neighborhood with a limp. It is confusing be bombarded with so much info.

I just read where they said it is not clear whether the video was recorded before or after the shooting. I thought video footage was timed and dated. Go figure.
