So I can't say anything about last night's game. Going off what I was told last night and what I've read this morning. It wasn't a good night for North Shore. As far as the North Shore run being over. Let me remind you in 2015 they lost all three of their non district games. They would put those losses behind them and win their second state championship. Go ahead and write us off if it makes you feel better about your teams chances. Let remind you it's not how you start the season. It’s about how you finish it. Unlike the others on this post just hating on NS because they’ve had so much success & because they have nothing else better to do because football is so bad in SETX…I’m telling you what I KNOW! The well has run dry…NS will lose a few more times this year & will drop a few district games. This is far from a typical NS group there isn’t any talent on this group and none coming up…the last normal NS freshman class graduated last year. I have heard the freshman class is loaded & they have a freshman starting on varsity but I haven’t seen them for myself to confirm. Big Daddy Cool 1 Quote

Not the first time in this run where we didn't have multiple D1 talents. I think back to the 08'-10' classes. It was during that run we lost to BRAZOSWOOD in the playoffs. We had a couple lean years and then the 2013 class came along. We won in 2015 after starting off slowly. 2018 started a run of talent few programs ever experience. I'm just saying it's way to early to go writing us the way some are doing. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
PhatMack19 Posted Sunday at 11:01 PM Report Posted Sunday at 11:01 PM I guess they got some issues at North Shore. Georgia commit is out and another player murdered? This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Quote

OlDawg Posted yesterday at 01:53 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:53 AM Coach Aymond and Kay did more than just build a program of excellence. They helped keep the young men in that part of town out of trouble. The North Shore/NE Houston area is known as gang central in Texas, and has been for years. I’m not trying to cast aspersions, but I’m not sure Gaston has the same level of control. It may be the times. It may be the kids. But, I have a hard time imagining this type activity would fly under Kay. Reagan 1 Quote

I think thats pretty common, coaches want to have refs that fit their style..some guys like refs who let them play...others like refs who call things tighter..a good Coach scouts the officials too Quote
Eazy Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago We’ll see if SOC can pull another upset this week with Duncanville. Quote

Not true at all…there was multiple D1’s in those classes and a couple even went to the NFL. Every team you named had plenty of talent…those teams struggled because of scheme issues. Hence why the first thing Kay did when he took over was switch to a spread offense. Again I’m telling you there’s no talent in this group & we all know you ain’t winning without it. Two kids I coached during my time there got killed before they graduated due to gun violence…you can’t control what kids do when they’re not on your watch. Quote

Are you taking pleasure that NS isn’t good this year, or are you trying to insinuate that the reason NS is down is because the kids that you’ve coached is no longer in the program? Quote
