Yeah… there differences of opinion regarding policies, and then there are some things that just shouldn’t be excused. The only people who are still excusing all of his stuff are loyal, though… I’ll give them credit for that. There’s nothing he can say or do that will shake their commitment to the man. It’s pitiful. I was just giving missing band a hard because I know how much he loves Trump. I don’t condone a lot of the nonsense he does but he’s the one that has to answer for it not me. There’s no doubt he’s The King of Narcissism. So what do you suggest should be done about him posting that image? My understanding is he took it down because he didn’t mean for it to come across that way which you know he rarely back tracks on anything he post. baddog and bullets13 2 Quote

I believe that since the Pope was involving himself in politics (which he is not supposed to do), Trump was reversing the roles and showing himself to be religious. Was it in bad taste? Yes, but it was an attempt to know each other’s place. Since the Pope is American, does he now have to pay taxes? Quote

You’re probably right but I think he personally wanted to get under TheMissingBand skin. At least that’s what I heard. 😁 Quote

I honestly didn't have you in mind when I made the original post. Not sure what you can do about him posting it. He's just alienating more and more supporters. I've never seen a politician try so hard to make people hate them. I don't believe for a second he didn't mean for it to come across the way it did, though. You're right, he's the King of Narcissism. If he was the King of Stupid I might believe that he didn't understand the context of the picture. Quote

If he was the King of Stupid I might believe that he didn't understand the context of the picture. He knew exactly what he was posting and what it represented. The only reason that he back-tracked was because so many of his supporters were like “hang on, now… this isn’t right.” Which is what I’ve been saying all along (for the last few months)-if Trump’s supporters would speak up and say “hang on now… this isn’t right” you would see better behavior from him. The fact that his base will give him a pass, no matter how wrong or evil the misdeed, only emboldens His Fatness to behave in increasingly bad ways. Instead of cheering (or at least remaining silent) when Trump made threats against sovereign nation like Venezuela, Cuba, and Iceland, they should have spoken up-and we likely wouldn’t be investing hundreds of billions of dollars into a war in Iran that we cannot win.
