19 5A will be tough. Not good seeing the 2 Beaumont schools drop down.

19-5A is going to be very fun to watch - top 4 teams should do well in in the playoffs!

Broaddus

Groveton Centerville

Kennard

Laneville

Martinsville

Wells

Zavalla

I thought about including this district in our coverage area because of Broaddus and Zavalla. But right now, I am going to pass. Could change my mind later.

Another 8 team district with 14 games.  Too many IMO.

Maybe go back to 2 divisions.

Just about every 1A basketball district in the state are 7-8 team districts.

This is the hidden content, please

I like larger districts. I don't like 4-6 team districts when 4 teams go to playoffs. A team should have to win more district games than they lose to qualify for playoffs. That's not the case sometimes in smaller size districts.

I'm curious how realigment is affects SETX basketball districts . With only a couple of schools changings classifcations I just don't see much reshuffling.

I agree.

Only three coverage area teams changing classifications. Barbers Hill and Crosby moving up to 6A and Tarkington dropping to 3A.

We will find out in three weeks.
