"The Official" West Brook Bruins vs. Pasadena South Houston Trojans Predictions

Guest WeedBegone

Hey WB fans--82 5A needs your help keeping this thread up top.  Thats where the Brook is supposed to be--at the TOP.  It is not the job of our friends from other great schools.

Its a new season now.  Time to step it up a notch. I expect to see lots more fanergy during the game Saturday.  No clapping except for the other teams band when they exit the field.  When anything that has a WB and it leaves or enters the field--get off your rears and make some real noise.  We may put some roller-blades on you and send you down the Stallworth ramp if you dont.  After the game--join in with the band, stars, cheerleaders aND PLAYERS as they show some SETX respect to the entire program.Dont act like you have to get out of there to beat the rest of the crowd.  Savor every moment ---every game.  See you there ---cause we know you care.   8)

Please allow me to repeat myself.

just 'cause I'm not posting doesn't mean I'm not reading the posts........what can I say that hasen't already been said. Do I think we'll win Saturday.....without a problem! Do I think we'll beat FB Clements (10-0) if we see them in the Area round, YES! Do I think we'll beat Cy-Falls in the Regional Semi's if they're waiting for us, YES, as long as we show up and play Bruin football! What about Katy in the Regional Finals/quarterfinals.....maybe? Whether we win or lose to them(should we play them), they'll definitely know we were there! ALL these predictions are the result of what WB is capable of. If we continue to have no spirit at the games and noone removes their gludius-maximus from the seats in order to actually cheer for our boys, them we probably lose in the first round. We've got to have fan support. I have a friend, who is from Nederland, that came to a couple of our games this year, and he couldn't believe-actually laughed-at how dead our crowd was. I'll be there Saturday, cheering on our boys! I hope you will too! Does anybody know when the playoff shirts go on sale, and how much they are? ;D

Ya know I can't figure it out. WB fans are strong in numbers but, they're a bunch of golf clappers. WB needs a guy like Crazy George from back in the Luv Ya blue days with that drum. Or something. I'm doing my part.....Oh yeah by the way the WB drum line is second to none. They blow every other school away...

What we need is some empty propane bottles with some steel balls in them to make a little noise! Does anybody want to volunteer to make some? YES, WB's drum line is very good......but they could update some of their cadences. Some of those cadences they are playing are actually left over from the old Hebert days. Dont get me wrong, I like hearing them as much as the next guy, but they are a little old! ;D

......and what's on the sides of our helmets? Is it just a "W", NO it's a"WB". I guarantee you if we make a deep playoff run this year, we will start getting some respect from the corners of the state, based on the returning class we will have next year! ;D

Do you think the kid at #14 would have something to say about those rankings? More yards passing, more TD's, 1/2 the picks.  Point of the matter is that polls like this give kids big heads and get over confident.  Its called fun with numbers.  There will only be 2 numbers that matter...their score and ours.  Not individual stats.  He had his best game last week.  He needs to continue that kind of play throughout the playoffs.

If he plays like that and we stay healthy, hang on because it is going to be a long and fun ride!!!!!!!!!!!

the kid at #14 has double the amount of attempts and double the completions but only 1000 more yards than C-Lou and he is averaging a yard more per catch so he shouldnt be mad

Don't miss the point.  I just picked the first guy I saw with big numbers.  We could play with those numbers all day long...such as how many yards were made after the catch, etc. and the polls would be different.  Point is WB is playing as a team and I hope they keep it that way.
