  1. This guys has had so much wine already that he is having visions of the future. Too bad he's dyslexic and saw the score backwards. Here's what he really saw: WB 31 Clements 21
  2. I figured that would be the answer. Hopefully, Stump has trained to team well, and the rain and cold will play in our favor.
  3. Quick questions... The weather report for Saturday looks real bad. What do the UIL rules say about weather and postponing games. I'm sure lightening has to be involved. But is there an measure of field conditions at all? And lets say that the game gets postponed, when would it be rescheduled for? Wet and cold or hot and dry this is going to be a great game! We need to be out there supporting our Bruins either way. Let's Go Bruins!!
  4. Glad to see you come around 82. We need more fans to quit predicting our defeat and to have faith in our Bruins. Stump and the Bruins have got this game. It's gonna be tough, but Stump's got it. Go Bruins on Saturday and Gig 'em Aggies on Friday! ;D
  5. I agree with Weed that we need to be conservative with our estimates for next weekend's game. We don't need to go in with a big head - which seems to be what we did yesterday. If we go in there playing our best, and we keep our eyes (and hands) on the ball we'll do fine. WB 28 - Clements 22 As for the band taking third quarter off... I'll just say that I'm there to support the team, not to stuff my face for an entire quarter.
  6. That's all we need is cup holders... It gives our mediocre crowd a better reason to sit the whole game on their newly acquired turkey butts or stand in line under the stands waiting for a drink to fill the holder. Either way, no one's cheering on our team.
  7. Yesterday: Katy's defense allowed 18 points against Bellaire Strake Jesuit SLCarroll's defense allowed 24 points against Flowermound Just something to think about...
  8. I agree with 82 that we're going to have to play all 4 quarters if we want to beat Clements. They're going to give us a run for our money, and we can't keep hoping to get lucky every week. The rain and wet turf did definitely slow us down, but towards the end the players seem to adapt to it. I also thought it was amazing when I got on the field for half time at how big our crowd was in comparison to SoHo's crowd. They were loud, but there sure weren't many of them. Their crowd seemed louder than their band.... Unfortunately, there were a lot of us, but not much noise (at least not at the level we were capable of). The boys need to rest up, but they need to work on their passing defense just in case Clements decide to throw the ball on Saturday. Let's give them a chance to work on it this week, and see what happens against the Rangers (fyi that's their mascot) on Saturday. In the end, we were a little nervous, but we came out victorious. And that's what counts...right? And thank Weed for the "extra security" on the band buses. It helped keep some of that Trojan mess from getting on our buses. Oh! And I hope everyone like our new half-time show. ;D
  9. I wonder how much sleep the Trojan team got last night knowing the Bruins are on the hunt...
  10. It's time to throw in the towel Trojans. At one tomorrow it will be like getting a shot at the doctor...if you close your eyes and look away, it will all be over in a second and it won't hurt nearly as bad. And then you can go eat some good turkey and get ready for Christmas. Guys! Game next week...Stump announced it at the pep rally today. For right now, the game next Saturday is at 1PM at Galena Park ISD's stadium (next to North Shore HS on Wallisville RD). We'll know details for sure tomorrow.
  11. How's a caravan sound Bruin fans?? Either a fan caravan or one that follows the band/football/stars buses (there's usually 9 or 10 buses without the players). We'll make our arrival at Stallworth something the SoHo fans will never forget! Don't forget football is not only a physical game...its also a mind game.
