State's top player commits to A&M

On Sunday, new Texas A&M coach Mark Turgeon and the Aggies landed the number one recruit in the state of Texas, one of the top 25 prospects in the nation, and one of the most highly regarded players to come out of the talent rich Houston area in the last twenty years when Houston Yates forward Anthony Jones chose A&M over offers from schools such as Texas, Florida, Arizona, and Duke.  In the process, the A&M basketball program sent a resounding message to the nation that the Aggies will continue to be a dominant force in college basketball.

maybe an up and coming program but doesnt it make sense to at least make a final four in school history before calling yourselves a "dominant force"

I was fine with the title of the thread but the journalism integrity of whoever wrote it should be highly questioned.  A dominant force??? Get real.  Duke is a force, Carolina is a force, Florida is a force, Kansas is a force, Georgetown is a force, UCLA is a force, aggy not so much.  So he cut and pasted it no big deal, lets add a poll on where it was cut and pasted from.....

It was from the website of the Houston news station that he committed on.  Now, the story has gotten interesting.  His mom isn't happy and he is reweighing his options (A&M, UT, and Baylor)

I hope he stays with A&M! with that much talent commiting the ags shouldnt just let him walk away.
